Who is making this money does it go to the township or to the credit card processing company?
Is it the company that a commiteeman has somesort of partnership in?

shouldnt there be full disclosure to the taxpayers about this deal who gets the money and if there is financial benefit to a govt official?

    1. Its tough times why should people be charged so much because its considered a convinience tp swipe a card, why should people pay a percentage of the entire bill this is unheard of how in the world could lakewood township get away with this taking advantage ofthe tax payers.

    2. Pretty much all government agencies everywhere charge a convenience fee for paying by credit card. Ostensibly it is to cover the percent the credit card processor charges them.

    1. @ anonymous 11:43, I wish you were right. Parks had to be closed. People do not practice social distancing properly. When I tried to walk on the lake path, I had to go into the street to avoid people being near me without masks. I was the only one with a mask. People don't obey rules so everything has to be closed! I, for one, will not walk on the lake path again for a while.

    2. People should have had a choice to go to the park. If you are not happy with the way people are(or not)social distancing stay home. If people are fine with it way ruin it for them. Why do people have to were masks anyway it does not help.

  4. I hope we will return to find beautiful, clean and updated parks. The township had plenty of time to clean up during the lockdown.
