List of Stores where Chometz May be Purchased Right After Pesach 2020

Updated for post pesach 5780:
Below is a list of national chains Based on lists from Star-k in Baltimore CRC in Chicago (see image below). Those lists are for stores in those regions.

(Target stores - one should wait for 3-4 weeks after Pesach since they get food from Jewish owned distributors)

Petco
Petsmart
Rite-Aid
Royal Farms
Sam's Club (Owned by Walmart)
Shoprite  (see below)
Trader Joe’s
Walgreens
Walmart
Wegmans
Whole Foods
Many Central NJ Shoprites, are owned by the Saker Family, which is not a
Jewish family. Additionally, the Shoprite in Tallman, Spring Valley, North Bergen, Fair Lawn, Passaic and others in that vicinity are owned by the Inserra Family, which does not seem to be a Jewish family. The Glass Garden Shoprites in Englewood, Paramus and Boro Park are owned by the Jewish Mr. Glass, who sells his chametz.


Additionally, any Shoprite with a “Kosher Experience” counter is not Jewish owned.

    1. Stop & Shop is not Jewish owned but receives food products from c & s wholesale distributors which is Jewish owned and there is a problem of chometz that arrives during pesach not included in the mechira
