Post Yom Tov Shopping Notice from Lakewood Supermarkets
Enough with all these non stop letters The town is fully compliant and everyone has been staying in their homes. This only fuels the medias false narrative how Lakewood is not compliant. The askanim pushing all this where no were to be found when there was a real sakana of Corona Purim time. They kept silent and pretended all was fine while people were sick. This is all reactionary after the fact that is bringing more bad press.
Do these askanim think that everyone is an imbecile and would love to sit and shop in the stores for hours on end? Don't they realize that the population is just as smart or actually a bit smarter. Do people have to be treated like children with these silly notices. And for real will they check that shoppers only have 15 items.
When bmg offers pesach boxes & chomets boxes, which they did not have to do, no one complained about their imposing on us. Now that they are warning us to not to let up on our social distancing, which some have not been adhering to & need more warnings,then all the complainers come out. Bmg has gone above & beyond for Lakewood & deserves gratitude!
No one is complaining about BMG they went above and beyond it was a tremendous chesed. its about rouge askanim that are pushing an agenda with bully tactics on the rabbonim and they keep on making up guidelines that are not in line with the medical community or the government. The sinas yisrael caused to Lakewood is a direct result from the non stop mesira against yidden that has brought media attention and now its made its way to healthcare workers putting cholei yisrael at pikuach nefashos. that is the situation we are in now.
