Statement by Chabad Lubavitch Headquarters

The Chabad-Lubavitch community is pained by the vandalism of a group of young agitators who damaged the synagogue below Chabad Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway Monday night. These odious actions will be investigated, and the sanctity of the synagogue will be restored. Our thanks to the NYPD for their professionalism and sensitivity. We are grateful for the outpouring of concern, and for the support of our Chabad-Lubavitch institutions around the world.

    1. Unfortunately the videos went viral, and now the world thinks all chasidim are like Lubavitch Meshichistin. So we need to know about this, so that when we're confronted about this story (as a community or as an individual) we know to respond that those crazies are different, but the rest of us are normal.

    2. Rav Shach never said they are mythological beings that don't really exist.

    3. As per Rav Shach you should not be on the internet, even with a filter.

    4. What did Rav Shach say about internet? Did he agree with Reb Yitzchok Elchanan about the topic?

    5. Rav Shach who was niftar in 2001 and wasn't speaking publicly for years before did not say anything about filtered internet that was barely in use at the time. While I'm sure he would have opposed it, he would not have opposed it as strongly as he opposed Chabad messianism and worse.

  4. Imagine just imagine if they actually would have auctioned off the 200 acres which they gave for free to cedarbridge development. Never mind imagine if they actually would tax the Owners of the Cedarbridge development property like they charge everybody else instead of giving them abatements for who knows what reason....

  5. Let the tzibbur come round together now to grasp how ahead of the avg. groisse Rebbi he was. It cost him so much.
& how on target he was going to be, in spite the incessant flack he would receive becaus of all of it then & later even from some of the most prestigious, including his potential colleagues! Or those who took advantage of his 'induced misfortune'
Gives an idea of how a REAL gadol is like

  7. You do realize that there's nothing for free (Tuition) as someone is paying for it through their taxes. And if there aren't enough taxes to pay for it, the taxes go up.

  10. Kidding? He laughs regarding the whole thing
He'll condone real murder too as long as it won't be realized by his voting bloc
But to specific clientele he'll give a pretense getting all serious about how he personally could be somehow against in some scenario that would come off as sheer irrelevant

  11. Beware smooth talking PRJanuary 9, 2024 at 5:10 PM

Longtime Chabad spinmeister Yudel Krinsky (a Boston native who converted to Lubavitch in his youth) is still going strong doing damage control, and trying to spin the 770 fiasco to his side's advantage in internal Lubavitch maneuvering and overall. Let us not get duped by his smooth talking. When there is no Rebbe, there is trouble, Why have they no Rebbe, when their last leader passed away almost thirty years ago already???
