-Indications are very likely that Iran is planning an extensive retaliation against US & Israel both. The retaliation could be within days or even hours according to a source in the International Coalition. In Iran Billboards have been put up stating that "Revenge will be swift and it's coming soon".

- Three Israelis who were previously considered missing are now considered to have been taken hostage in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total back up to 136, IDF spokesperson R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari announced. At the request of the families, the names of the hostages were not immediately publicized. Two were subsequently identified as Tel Aviv resident Hanan Yablonka and Idan Shtivi from Ganei Tikva. 

- Israeli strike on southern Lebanon takes out 4 Hezbollah fighters including commander
in the city of Naqoura, near border with Israel.

- Another soldier killed in Gaza bringing military death toll in ground op to 175
Moshe Meiron Gersch,21 from Petach Tikva. 29 soldiers have been killed by friendly fire and accidents.

- The IDF says reservists operating in southern Gaza have killed many Hamas fighters of northern and eastern Khan Younis battalions, and significantly damaged their command and control, preventing operatives from carrying out large-scale attacks on troops.

- Biden has dispatched special envoy Amos Hochstein to Lebenonand Israel as Washington intensifies its diplomatic engagement in a bid to lower roiling tensions between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

- Israeli Officials are “Alarmed” and have reached out to U.S. Defense Officials regarding their Decision to Withdraw the USS Gerald R. Ford and her Carrier Strike Group from the Eastern Mediterranean at a time when Hostilities in the Region are expected to soon Escalate.

- Hamas hostage Sahar Baruch, 25, was killed on December 8 in connection with an IDF rescue attempt, the military revealed Wednesday.  The IDF acknowledged that within a day of the rescue attempt, Hamas had killed him.

- Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said it backed South Africa’s genocide claim against Israel over its military operation in Gaza. The opening hearing is expected to be held next Thursday and Friday before the International Court of Justice at The Hague.
