    4. Not medical billing. Accounting. There are quite a number there for years and still single.

Besides it's still much better on the resume than being a secretary or something

  4. The shidduch crisis is not about numbers or freezers
Here is the elephant in the room
There are simply not enough shidduchim getting redd to the simple class.
We are divided among higher and lower class societies and by default because of the elitist culture among us it pushed everyone else into a nebby class those are the ones suffering. It won't change until Roshei yeshivas and big gevirim or high society do shidduchim with quality boys and girls from the other half

    1. Human nature will not be changed. Ever.

People will always be divided into classes. The communists thought they were abolishing class, and guess how that turned out.

Btw, it's just not true. Rich girls get old like poor ones, RY's children sit around like Cheder Rebbes. The so-called simple class are not necessarily the ones suffering.

People like whining and blaming others for their perceived failures.

    2. How does equal to a lack of shiduchim? The "simple class" does not have more of one gender and the Roshei yeshivas and big gevirim do not either. Different classes have always done Shiduchim with their own class. Why not continue that system? As Chazal say a L'olam Yisah Odom Bas Ihroy

    3. Very simple by dropping the dividers you have more compatible people enter the pool. Because everyone boxed themselves into a criteria they are limited in options if people agree to marry out of their comfort zone it can add hundreds of good prospects for shidduchim.

    4. As a bona-fide simple person, scion of a long line of simple people, I am not interested in complicated people, with their sense of entitlement and belief in their own value by virtue of their being born. Let the gvirim and Roshei Yeshiva marry among each other and not sully my simple person yichus.

    5. even by the "simple class" there only is a crisis with girls and not with boys. that clearly shows that the problem is that there are more girls than boys. if you shift around the problem it will only mean that different girls are in crisis. it will not solve the problem.

    6. For The RECORD BY THE WAY WE who built American Jewry built it not to be divided into classes. How remarkably matzliach it was in spite of those many human nature types. We kept them at bay for a while.
We could've & would've been the beneficiaries. But we chose to be better.
Instead the neo-feimshmek-elites like chazerim rode on in to engorge away what we erected. They Even connive they had a connection with establishing what we now.
Choteh nizkar on to the very top
For a bare couple generations IT Was better.
      Anon at 1:33,
Anybody who wonders how come we're still in golus, here's your answer:
"Human nature" NEEDS to be changed & Must be changed
You really want moshaich or don't?

Most (honchos) really don't.Probably that includes you. In spite of all the noise they make about it.
If you prefer the alternative, you better prepare to start changing human nature. At least of jews. Or give up on it coming. Enjoy the failing.
But Like Achav all your ilk wants is Mi Ba'rosh
Can't you ever get it right ? It's overdue?

    1. You're not changing anyone's minds, so don't bother. In fact, the more you write against Trump, the more we insist on voting for him and the more family members we will shlep along.

    3. Tell that to all the Jews who were murdered by Hamas because of Bidens weakness. They never would have done so under Trump.
Even now, Israeli soldiers and citizens are getting killed because Biden handcuffed Israel's response. But go ahead and vote Biden because Trump sent a mean tweet.

    4. You shlep more people to vote for Trump because a rando on the internet wrote against him? Do you realize how weird and cultish you sound?

If you are discussing the situation that happened in Afghanistan or Russia/Ukraine I would tend to agree with you it probably would not have happened under Trump. However Hamas is a terror organization intent on killing Jews regardless of what may be. They knew full well what the consequences will be and did so anyway. The invasion of Gaza and killing of thousands of their troops happened under President Biden. Trump would not have been able to stop them regardless.

    6. The Afghani withdrawal was a Trump decision and deal. It's flaw was embedded, it wasn't a flaw in its execution. Trump has the blame for that. But Trump's only expertise and skill is in blaming others for his failures, and his sheeple fell for it.

  8. Media for you:"Trump’s landslide Iowa win is a stunning show "How was it stunning if the media was predicting that for weeks or months?Because they made it come to pass?
    They chose to under-predict DeSantis.
    If anything, that's more stunning.

    1. You clearly don't understand the word "stunning". Niagara Falls is stunning even though it's been predicted for weeks and months that the falls would continue falling.

      Delete
    2. Nice try,though.
NF is stunning because it's a new pleasant surprise to you as a tourist. If somebody would describe previously every last nitty detail to you in advance it wouldn't be 'stunning'
Furthermore,Stunning in News English. Not girlish jargon.

      Delete
    3. According to Oxford, "stunning" means "extremely impressive or attractive." That definitely applies to both Niagara Falls and to Trump's historic victory in Iowa.

      Delete
    4. Would you call your typical shul kiddush "stunning"? Really?!

      Delete
    5. You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Your illiteracy is both breathtaking and stunning.
Trump's historic victory in Iowa is stunning in that no republican candidate (who was not an incumbent) has ever won by such large margins in an Iowa primary. Its stunning even though we all knew it would happen, because it is extremely impressive (as Oxford explains). The fact that you wouldn't use the word "stunning" in this context doesn't make it wrong. It just means that you use the word more like your "girlish" jargon (your words, not mine), while the rest of us use the word the way its meant.

      Delete
    6. you would call it stunning if you were a tb and it was the kiddush in the "kiddush" music video.

      Delete
    7. The linguistic premise is correct, but the political premise is not. Trump is practically an incumbent, having once been president before. His victory was greater than any other Republican - who had never served as president before. If he isn't mamash an incumbent, he's at least a quasi incumbent

      Delete
    8. You can argue about whether the victory was historic or not. But that wasn't my point.
The OP complained that "How was it stunning if the media was predicting that for weeks or months?"
In response to his question, I was teaching him that the word "stunning" does not mean "unexpected". It means "impressive", which is relevant here even if it was predicted.

    9. 'Ben Dworkin, director of the Institute for Public Policy and Citizenship at Rowan University, said Democrats’ night was “stunning, not just a surprise.”'

iirc Oxford puts in jargon once it becomes common parlance for a subset eg girls, even when faulty for Newspaper.
How you fellows bend over in splits backwards in order to parrot comfortably with whatever the media decides to trumpet. Though they have researchers to manipulate such vocabulary just to keep pulling the wool over conformists for whichever is their fad. Like yourselves. Guess such conversations nowadays should be expected. That you'll go wild after anybody capable of standing athwart [a term for literates] should be also expected. So it's ok.. or is it?
