- Former CBS journalist Charles Osgood, of the Osgood file on Cbs radio died Tuesday at his home in New Jersey, CBS News reported. He was 91.

 - Lakewood township officials have yet to explain why they are paying for the courtesy busing of public school kids but yeshiva kids have to pay  $340 per child for courtesy busing.

- Lakewood mayor was asked by the last committee meeting about the $20,000 salary increase for himself and other commiteemen how can they take a large sum for a part time job, the mayor responded it is not a salary increase but the same 3% raise as other township employees.

 - A member of the public asked why Lakewood government is not up to date in the 21st century with council and elected mayor like most neighboring towns. The mayor said we are up to date it is not the form of govt but the people in the government and Lakewood has 5 dedicated people. He added Lakewood is the envy of a lot of townships

- Committeemen Lichtenstein and Miller did not show their face on the screen during the monthly remote meeting. Township officials applauded the great job of snow removal from the previous storm prior to Friday's.
