- Afghan refugees arriving at Joint Base MDL up to 9,500 will be housed there. Airbnb says it plans to temporarily house 20,000 Afghan refugees globally in homes listed with them free of charge. 

- Hoboken NJ students 12+ who are eligible for a COVID vaccine but are not vaccinated will be tested for the virus weekly, the first district to do so in NJ. Students 11 years of age and younger, who are too young to be vaccinated, will also be tested on a weekly basis at random, according to the district’s new policy.

-Israeli study shows natural immunity from prior covid infection confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to induced immunity by the the Pfizer  two-dose vaccine. Individuals who were both previously infected covid and

given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta

variant HERE 

- Murphy executive order to mask kids in school order does not allow parents to send a note to opt out. Individuals seeking a medical exemption from mask wearing will be required to produce written documentation from a medical professional.

- Israel tops over 10,000 coronavirus cases with 10,001 newly verified cases. The number of unvaccinated people who have been diagnosed is close to half the daily amount and is very similar to the number of people who have received two doses of the vaccine. 1,084 coronavirus patients are currently hospitalized 668 of them in serious or critical condition.25 people died from the coronavirus yesterday. Another 12 have died so far today, raising the death toll in Israel to 6,908.

- New York Gov. Kathy Hochul  acknowledge,  os nearly 12,000 more Iiiiiii in the state from COVID-19 than had been publicized by her predecessor, by Cuomo. New York now reports nearly 55,400 people have died of COVID-19 in New York based on death certificate data submitted to the CDC

- Israel: As of Tuesday afternoon, 330 out of 679 seriously ill patients were unvaccinated, while 16 were partially vaccinated and 333 were fully vaccinated.

- New Jersey's unemployment rate is 7.3%, which is tied for the fifth highest in the country.

There was over 90% immunity to measles but NY had “Hassidic Jewish People” who were the cause of the outbreak, by choosing not to vaccinate. here  

- Johnson & Johnson says their coronavirus vaccine  booster shot generated a large increase in antibodies, a spike nine-fold higher than 28 days after the first shot.

- The Pentagon orders all active duty troops to be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.

- Report: In a meeting held last night with the Coronavirus commissioner, Prof. Salman Zarka, Rav Chaim Kanievsky said that teachers who aren’t vaccinated shouldn’t come to teach. he said that the vaccines are Siyata dishmaya and should be taken in order to prevent Bittul Torah and sickness.
