- For the second time in recent weeks thousands of Lakewood and Jackson residents went into shabbos with no power or electricity after a storm knocked out power on erev shabbos at 3:45pm. Initially the power was to be restored at 6:30 pm but as shabbos was approaching the ETA time was pushed to 8:00 pm. It went back on at 9:30 pm in the Central ave area and at 11:00 pm in the westgate Jackson areas. Gor many the shabbos candles were the only source of light for the Seuda.
