  1. So the Badatz of the Edah Hacharedis (inaccurate, the Badatz did not sign that letter. They printed the words עדה החרדית at the bottom, that's it. They didn't even forge the Dayanim's signatures) is protesting against the Gedolei Yisroel. Sounds about right.

    1. They're complaining he didn't bring a check for them too. Giving to RY is nice, but they want a cut of the action.

  2. This מחאה is not from the בד״ץ עדה החרדית. It is from some anonymous person singing off as עדה החרדית. When the בד״ץ posts a sign they always attach the signature of their דיינים and ראב״ד

  3. The photo of the plane is a fake, it was circulating on Twitter, but in reality it is from 2013 and it’s not Afghan refugees but philippine refugees.

    1. Then why would some of them be wearing masks?

    2. Philippine refugees are not leaving Israel or Oman UAE or Saudia.

Anyway, they're not wearing masks, they're sitting mixed seating without a mechitza and without frequent flyer accounts.

    3. The photo is real why are you quoting fake news. It is from yesterday there were 800 passengers on the plane

  4. However you wish to put it somewhat jarring the visit was
and or so it seemed against precedent

    second
it might well be the Gedolei Yisroel considered tolerating this visit as a necessity
but hand-in-hand they are quite content there on the other side are those publicly protesting to counterbalance the sentiments ..

    1. Not against precedent at all. This has happened many times before. And the sign printers made a few dollars.

    1. The longer the wave goes, the more overloaded the hospitals will get, and the worse medical care people will receive.

It doesn't have to be that way, but unfortunately we've seen this play out before.

  6. We hear that question being asked at the beginning of each new wave. Then a month later we have heard of the people who were niftar r'l, many of them middle aged. Let's daven that won't happen this time, but it's foolish to assume this round will be different with special siyata dishmaya.

    2. The vaccine is not foolproof. Do not rely on it. Only if someone actually had the virus, and had antibodies can one be more confident that these variants will not have a bad effect on them. Stay safe!
