-The prayer to open the 117th Congress ended with “Amen” and “Awoman” .Ben Shapiro responded Amen" is a Biblical Hebrew word: אמן. It is a word simply meaning "may it be so." It has nothing to do with the word "man" or "woman" because it is FROM HEBREW.

-Levaya of  Four-year-old Yoshi Balaban a"h ben R' Dovid Shalom shlita who was  Niftar in Car Accident at Yeshiva Ketana of Bensonhurst will take place at Yeshiva of Staten Island at 8:30 pm followed by Kevurah  in Lakewood. another 5 year old boy from Staten Island was injured in the accident. -Murphy: Congressional Republicans are openly and unabashedly working to overthrow a free and fair election decided by the American people. An American President is sitting in the Oval Office, working the phones to subvert American democracy for his personal benefit. Let that sink in.

-Cuomo: hospitals statewide had only used 46 percent of total allocated vaccine doses thus far. Any provider must use its inventory this week or receive a fine up to $100,000,  Going forward, providers must use all doses within seven days of receipt -- and if they fail to do so, they could be disqualified from future vaccine distributions.

- A 5-year-old Jewish child has tragically passed away after he and another young boy were struck by a  minivan in front of Yeshiva Ketana of Bensonhurst.  Hatzalah rushed to the scene, at 67th Street and 20th Ave., where paramedics pronounced the first boy niftar and then transported the other Jewish child to Maimonides Medical Center. Chaim Vchesed- Reportedly, students with valid student visas, who have been studying in Israel during the current school year, will soon be allowed to return to Israel. This will apply to those students stranded abroad, as well as to students currently in Israel who seek to travel abroad for personal reasons.

- In Newark, the NJ teachers union is calling on district and state officials to consider mandating that all  public school students get a COVID-19 test to show they are negative and to get a vaccination once they become widely available for children.

-A secular Jewish couple was removed from a United airlines flight to Israel this past motzei shabbos Israel media reports after they yelled and  taunted at frum passengers to sit next to each other because they are spreading the disease. A chasidishe youngerman approached the head steward who took action and had the couple removed.
