-79 new covid cases in Lakewood 306 in the last 3 days totals 9182/246

-Total Flu cases in NJ at 85 vs. 3189 from 2017.

-New girls high school opening in Lakewood Meiras Bais Yaakov under the leadership of  noted mechaneches Rebbetzin Paretzky. 

-The Mega Millions jackpot is $750M drawing is Friday night and the Powerball lottery jackpot is at $640M drawing is motzei shabbos

-No covid shots available in Lakewood. NJ Residents say they have been trying several times a day to book appointments at sites across the state, but either can't get through or have been told there is no vaccine available.

- Gov. Phil Murphy announced an estimated 2 million smokers will become eligible for vaccination NJ Teachers are reportedly  incensed” about the state prioritizing smokers over educators. 

-Flatbush Hatzolah and the Sephardic Community Alliance have been spreading the word about outpatient monoclonal antibody infusions currently available at multiple hospitals in New York, New Jersey and Florida.  A standardized treatment that is effective when administered within the first few days after a PCR test yields positive results, monoclonal antibodies are being used nationwide for patients in certain high risk categories.
