-Bde: Rebbetzin Gita Malka Cohn, a”h, passed away Sunday at the age of 93. She was the widow of Rabbi Avraham “Romi” Cohn, z”l, renowned mohel, who passed away in March of 2020. Rebbetzin Cohn, who was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1928, was the daughter of Reb Mendel and Mrs. Esther Geldzahler, Mrs. Cohn’s oldest brother was Harav Shia Geldzahler, zt”l, from Yeshivas Ohr Yisroel in Queens, and her brother, Reb Yossel Geldzahler, zt”l, passed away last week in Monsey.(Hamodia)

DeleteTelegram is a terrible app, because it is more than just messaging. Stick with Whatsapp, nothing will happen to you if you do.
Just keep far away from Facebook and you will be a happy person.
Telegram has "channels" allowing people to post content. It is not encrypted (so less private than whatsapp) and has ties to organized crime.
DeleteBest alternative is to have non of it. You'll be just fine with social media, and probably better off.
