- Assemblyman Avi Schnall voted YES on Bill A6310, part of a trio of pro-immigrant bills sent by New Jersey lawmakers to Governor Phil Murphy’s desk. the helega Zionist AG is making it her only mission to shut down yeshivas and imprison Torah learners, but us who fight for Torah against the Zionist shmad are the ones accused to steering the pot. How can anyone daven in a shul that has a Zionist flag?
ReplyDeleteBecause the poisek hador Rav Moishe Feinstein did among many others
DeleteThe Ponovezher Rav had the Israeli flag on the building of the heilege Ponovezh Yeshiva.
DeleteRav Ahoron kotlers levaya was conducted in a shul at the lower east side that had the Israeli flag on the podium.כל גדולי ליטא הספידו אותו בתוך הבית הכנסת
DeleteNone of those mentioned were very happy about it.& They would have been even less happy if a few generations later we now are still operating accordingly
DeleteThe focus on irrelevant symbolism, like the flag, is not innocent.
DeleteIt is a way to distract from the true issues. Go into a Shul with a flag, don't go in, Klal Yisroel has serious issues to deal with. Including the mental health of the guy who keeps on posting inane Neturei Kartaisms, and the one who wants to make a תענית ציבור against gravity.
All talk no action
ReplyDeleteThank you Avi please explain your voting record to the community who voted for you tell us why we should feel safe after your vote allowing criminals to avoid Ice
ReplyDeleteTell us why we should be inconvenienced at a fast food place to ask for cutlery
Honestly, the cutlery is no big deal. It is available w as much as you need, you just need to ask.
DeleteHis vote made no difference, and he has to keep in the good graces of the party. You voted him in as a democrat, expect him to vote with the democrats on most issues.
DeleteDid you forget the plastic bag bam??
DeleteThis law will ruin peoples' parnassa and potential fines; customers will need to request utensils or condiments, and self-serve access could be limited. Small businesses may pass on higher costs, while staff must monitor usage to avoid fines, potentially slowing service and frustrating customers, especially at fast-food and grab-and-go locations.
Schnall had no business voting for this
what a chutzpah of him to abuse the Lakewood vote and than vote against our values and ruin our quality of life and potentially harming local businesses
if they voted for it, what did they get in return?
Delete(vague) promises to widen the nine?
tuition relief?
additional state grants to the well-connected?
nursing-home grants?
How will buying less condiments and plastic dishes ruin someone's parnassa?
DeleteIf other stores give more, they have to. But now that all of them have to give less plastic dishes, I think they all gain tremendously.
Good job, Schnall!
The law would have passed regardless. Avi was smart to vote for a benign issue like plastic cutlery. Lakewood will gain many times over for having Avi in Trenton.
DeleteThat's not an excuse to vote against the will of the community and support a bill that can potentially have serious ramifications to the community and all new Jerseyans
DeleteHe's been a big disappointment in Trenton and a chilul Hashem
The plastic bag ban is terrible have had paper bags break in the rain
DeleteThe US must bring democracy to Iran, there is no other way.
ReplyDeleteWhat's democracy?
ReplyDeleteIt’s actually very smart. He’s joining with the Democrats with bills that aren’t that important and saving his important votes for the ones that count. He is playing chess and you are playing checkers
ReplyDeleteActually not smart at all untill C"V someone is hurt by a criminal who will avoid arrest because of his vote.
DeleteThe people who placed schnall said he's a Democrat only for technical reasons turns out he's a full blown Democrat who voted for hashchasa and now for dangerous legislation that places the community in danger
Stop sugarcoating what he's been doing
This was a gneivas daas to benefit some well connected people on the olams expense
and don't forget the free tuition scam
This vote by schnall is a disgrace and puts the community in danger by having ICE not communicating.
DeleteWhat did he do to help the individual??
He sold the free tuition scam
Tries to talk about the Trump education tax credits that have nothing to do with him
CHS has been frozen for Lakewood families
Taxes went up and now he votes for this danger with the democrats
He helped the well connected industries and those who helped his campaign
What a disgrace
9:46,
DeleteWell put!
If you know of a criminal, call the police.
DeleteThere is no need for more police in town, we are fine with what we have.
The idea that fighting undocumented immigrants has anything to do with crime is propaganda. Stop believing the news.
(And sanctuary cities are not a danger to anyone. Nor are they 'hashchasa'.)
Looks like the Schnall 2028 campaign has started and the paid trolls are back.
DeleteThe country voted for Trump because of the criminals in sanctuary cities. How sad that you try minimizing this danger.
Schnall does not represent the values of the Lakewood community his placement in office means ZERO and does not give him any rights to vote for harmful laws that are a Sakana and ruin people's quality of life.
If he can't abstain or vote NO HE SHOULD RESIGN IMMEDIATELY
How sweet!
DeletePeople believe the news like it was gospel truth. Then talk about 'fake news'.
It would be sweet, if the naar wasn't ours.

Anon 1:47 seems to think that Schnall's job is to vote for everything 'the country' voted for.
DeleteMaybe he goes to a different country? Maybe you go to Pine Acres and he goes to Sheldrake Dorms?
Seriously though, 'the country' is a really stupid argument. Most of us here in Lakewood do not want the immigrant community terrorized, we are happy to have them as our neighbors, do business with them on many fronts, and see them as a stable, law-abiding, positive influence. Schnall was not voted into office to push some xenophobic agenda, he is here to help Lakewood people.
Lakewood voted for Trump as the Trumpiest town.
DeleteSchnal went into office for tuition and widen the 9 he was NOT voted to fight Trump in Trenton.
His record is a betrayal against his constitutes. ICE is arresting criminals not rounding up Mexicans.
Obviously Rabbi landau is a big bal seichel and even though 3 months ago his partner may have agreed to blocking streets by protests, now after the tragedy they came to realize that this way of the Peleg is not a mahalech and needs to be stopped
ReplyDeleteHe still didn't condemn act of violence, just said protests are counterproductive in general. And why did we need a tragedy to recognize that
DeletePeleg is not a "mehalech"?
Half of the Moetzes, including from Lakewood, is Peleg. They don't seem to be bothered by the frum violence as much as by frum concerts.
This israel AG says it will weaken the courts. Good, weaken them as much as possible as nobody voted for them.
ReplyDeleteAG Baharav-Miara's existence undermines democracy
ReplyDelete#LockherUp
Avi Schnall never promised to represent you. He asked for your vote, after you already knew that he lied about tuition relief and yet you re-elected him. You have no right to complain.
ReplyDeleteHe can lie and I can complain.
DeleteIt's not a stira
Complain in front of his face at least
DeleteDid anyone notice the recent anti ICE campaign that was waged in Lakewood publications such as the voice and scoop don't think it was Stam azoi the media works to try and persuade public opinion... they shall for the power brokers
ReplyDeleteFascinating. Not a single comment about another person severely injured by a car. The carnage rolls on. So sad.
ReplyDeleteI have major issue with Avi Schnall being selected to serve as a Deputy Whip for the Assembly Democratic Majority. This is not just being a Democrat to get funding from them. The job of a Party Whip is to ensure party loyalty. A deputy party whip can almost never vote against his own party himself. This is really committing himself and those who he represents to following whatever the Democratic party line is.
ReplyDeleteEggs in Bingo .89 Chicken wings .99 lb. Buy B4 price goes up or AS signs the minimum price of eggs bill (like minimum wage) & minimum cost of (Kosher) wings bill.
ReplyDeleteSchnall is being played by the democrats a useful idiot. They now have a guarantee vote on their side assuming he will always get re elected they own him and while they throw him a few bones he will vote for them all the time.
ReplyDeleteA sad day for klal yisroel
Skip the useful
DeleteHow could the city put walkway paths going across Rt9 in Lakewood were there are no lights. It would be committing suicide?!
ReplyDeleteSee the problem with the crosswalk law in NJ is there is no prep for it you walk straight into traffic “engrossed” in your thoughts.By contrast, Japan also has a crosswalk law where drivers must stop and yield to pedestrian even before they enter the crosswalk but SHOW INTENT to cross. But again in Japan there is a strong culture of respect for rules which we dont find in USA. May Hashem keep all of us safe.
ReplyDeleteCalifornia England too
