Niggun to ואני בבאי מפדן
The ancient Va’Ani niggun taught in Cheder (chasidishe) over the generations. This sacred melody has been passed down for over 600 years, tracing back to the great tzaddik Maharil. Taught by R' Yoel Lebovitz.
The Maharil was a noted chazzan who travelled from town to town teaching chazzzanut and davening for the Amud. (He had a personal tragedy and attributed it to having kehillot change their minhagim of chazzzanut)
