Hashkafa Q&A

Hashkafa With Rav Gershon Ribner Shlita

A baal Teshuva with a passion for dogs seeks acceptance in a Charaidy community Misconduct of a Rov that deserved being relieved of his responsibilities Cultural and religious shocks expected doing a shidduch of varying extractions Clutching basic Jewish beliefs in the face of hardships

  1. Charedi is an Israeli imported term
Frum is a term that has been co-opted,expanded & inflated,as it be virtually meaningless
    Shouldn't we adopt something better?

    1. Use Erlicher Yid as neither being Chariedi nor frum implies that someone is one

  2. I assume that learning the seforim about what to think of dogs, includes Maharsha and Mahral who indicate that dog is named כלב because it is kulo lev כולו לב, meaning “all heart” .
