Substantial Snow Threat for NJ This weekend

N.J. Weather: Increasing Snowstorm Threat This Weekend
Update some models showing storm starting later on Sunday night into Monday anywhere between 4-12 inches

Forecasters say the risk of a significant snowstorm in New Jersey this weekend is increasing, though exact snowfall totals remain uncertain as some models show 10 - 15 inches or more.
The National Weather Service is monitoring a potential winter storm expected to develop near Texas on Friday and track up the East Coast.

If the storm moves close enough, substantial snow is possible, especially from Motzei Shabbos through Sunday, with impacts potentially lingering into Monday.

Southern New Jersey currently has a 40–60% chance of 6 inches or more of snow.

Areas south and west of the I-95 corridor have a 60–70% chance of at least 2 inches. Snow chances decrease farther north in the state.

Forecast uncertainty remains high because key atmospheric factors are still far away and evolving.
