Day 843
- IDF finds final slain hostage Ran Gvili HYD in Gaza cemetery, now bringing his body back to Israel for burial He was the last hostage remaining in Gaza.
Gvili’s remains ID’d by dental, fingerprint match; 250 bodies were checked
- Netanyahu makes a Bracha of Shehecheyanu and removes the pin of the hostages: "We have completed this mission, as I promised, and so we will complete the rest of the missions we have set."
- President Trump reacts to the recovery of the final Israeli hostage remains:
“Just recovered the last Hostage body in GAZA. Thus, got back ALL 20 of the living Hostages, and ALL of the Dead! AMAZING JOB! Most thought of it as an impossible thing to do. Congratulations to my great team of Champions!!! President DJT,” he said on Truth Social.
- Talik Gvili (Ran's father): "We closed the circle - he finally came home, unbelievable. They found him intact, dressed in his uniform. It's an amazing thing. Our pride is greater than the sadness. The funeral is currently planned for next Wednesday. We still can't process that they found Rani."
- Jared Kushner All Israeli hostages in Gaza living and decease l have now been returned for the first time since 2014, following the recovery of Ran Gvili’s body. Kushner credits international coordination under Trump’s leadership and says the focus now is helping Gaza move beyond Hamas to prevent future violence.
- Sources at the White House to Yinon Magal from Ch 14: "You have no idea how many people cried here today at the White House. We worked on this project relentlessly! As if they were Americans. We could have given up weeks ago, but we didn't. It should be noted that there was very sensitive and ongoing cooperation with the Egyptians, who connected all the parties together. Now we move to the next stage: very soon a major plan will be published, which will also include the disarmament of Gaza and the dismantling of Hamas's weapons. It is likely they will say yes and try to deceive... but Jared and Steve are not naive. No one believed we would bring everyone back, and we did it! And so it will be with the dismantling of Hamas. There are several options regarding the timelines: short, medium, and long. In Gaza, the easy way is the wrong way. Soon the Rafah crossing will open, in a safe manner, so that no weapons enter Gaza. We hope for the best and prepare for the worst."
- President Herzog removes his yellow hostage pin
- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that the return of the body of Master Sgt. Ran Gvili “is an extraordinary achievement for Israel.”
“We promised, and I promised, to bring everyone back, and we brought everyone back,” he says, “to the very last one.”
“Rani is a hero of Israel. He went in first, he came out last. He came back,”
- Netanyahu in the Knesset: "The next stage is the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of Gaza - not rehabilitation. We have an interest in advancing this stage and not delaying it."
- The army says that the intelligence indicating Gvili was buried at the cemetery in eastern Gaza City had been known for a while, though recently the picture was made clearer by intelligence-gathering operations and information confirmed by Hamas to Israel via mediators. Where's our resident-Tziyonim-hater who claimed Bibi wouldn't be successful in getting back all the hostages?! Maybe he's still drinking his morning coffee.
ReplyDeleteThat’s called success? Nebach
Deleteif Bibi the weak had a backbone Hamas would have run out of its way to bring back this Yid to kever Yisroel but since this chazer loving shrimp eater believes in "international humanitarian values" and kept giving Hamas food, electric and everything else they had no need to do it.
ReplyDeleteMy dear,
Deletethere are so many evil people out there. Much worse than him. Who of them would you rather?
Refuah Sheleima Reb Yid
DeleteIs this your argument ???
Are you saying that Because PM Netanyahu gave Hamas food and electric that’s why Ran Gvili HYD was not released until now?
Seek. Help. Now!!!
#1 Israel was forced and coerced to give Hamas food. This was not Bibi fault
#2 Hamas, was—and is —playing games. Nothing to do with your bogeyman Zionist
#3 What does this have to do with
אוכלי נבילות
To the contrary. Mr. Netanyahu was , for the most part, a good שליח for אחינו בית ישראל under the most difficult circumstances. 99.9% of strong people would have folded under the pressure he was under.
Imho It is something he should be commended for, and not disparaged with such venom.
I wish you would show such contempt for our real enemies and not have this שנאה against our brothers that are ליידער misguided in their Halacha and hashkafa.
And one more point:
DeleteMake no mistake, Ran GvilI HYD was not ‘handed over’ by the reshaim Hamas. Ran was brought back to Eretz Yisroel by the hero’s of the IDF that exhumed 250 bodies until they found him.
According to News Reports out of Israel
a series of clandestine operations began over the last few days to pinpoint Gvili’s burial site.
Therefore, I think it is high time that you focus some of your venom on our true enemies.
In case I have to spell it out for you. I am referring to the פרא אדם, that pillage, plunder and kill men, woman, children and babies.
Faun Fact day:
DeleteFun fact#1 The arabs are enemies of the Zionists
Fun fact #2 The Zionists are enemies of us yidden
Fun fact #3 gadol hamachtia yoser….
Fun fact #4 the Zionists are the ones causing the Arabs to hate us
And while I’m at it. במחילת כבוד Jared Kushner. While some of the living hostages might have been released due to international coordination, the return of Ran had nothing to do with ‘international coordination’. Ran was returned with much Siyata Dishmaya and the שלוחי דרחמנא that exhumed 250 bodies until they found him
DeleteCan people not accept that the Arabs are bad, without having to say what a great guy Bibi is? Can people not accept that Bibi is a corrupt irresponsible politician and still understand that Hamas and the rest of the Palestinians are a bunch of raghead killers?
DeleteHow did the question become binary?
Besides his corruption, Bibi is a Rasha who tramples on the Torah. Right now, there is the belief that we can come to a deal with him. That doesn't make him not a Rasha.
And Hamas is still a bunch of bloodthirsty cretins.
It is a boosha that this needs to be said but Palestinian Nationalism is not Judaism. Yet the obvious influence Palestinian Nationalism and other non-Jewish groups have over some of frum anti-Zionist groups is glaring
DeleteWhy didn't our rabbonim and Rosh yeshivos wear a pin to show they care about the hostages? At least in some fashion? Are they celebrating now? Why not?
ReplyDeleteAren't you a clever one?
DeleteYou should just stare at yourself in the mirror in admiration of the genius staring back.
Because pointless gestures like wearing pins are done by people who don't actually do anything but just want to feel good about themselves. We davened for the hostages every day and donated to the funds that were set up for their families while you were busy with pins.
DeleteWhy do they have to show you how much they care? They care in their hearts. When people have to show it to others on their lapels, its because they don't really care in their hearts.
Delete12:57 PM What percent of the people in Lakewood do you think davened for the hostages every day and donated to the funds that were set up for their families?
Delete1:11 PM By that logic anytime you see someone wearing a symbol you should assume he does not care about the cause. (And I'm no pin wearer)
DeleteThey have all been davening. Many videos circulating of that. Not sure how wearing a pin is helping
