- Hundreds pay last respects at funeral of Israel’s final hostage, Ran Gvili, in Meitar netanyahu said "The closing of the grave of Ran Gvili seals the painful reality of the presence of Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip. All of them, the living and the deceased, we have brought them all home from enemy territory."

- KLM has canceled plans to resume flights to Tel Aviv, announcing that service to Ben Gurion Airport will remain suspended indefinitely due to ongoing security concerns amid heightened regional tensions.

- Israel is reviewing reports that the US and Iran are holding quiet talks and that Washington has set preconditions for possible negotiations toward a new nuclear deal. Israeli officials are worried any agreement could be unfavorable from Israel’s perspective. Meanwhile, President Trump sent a message to Iran saying he prefers a deal but warned that an additional US naval force is heading to the region.

- Israel has cleared land in southern Gaza for the construction of a camp for Palestinians, potentially equipped with surveillance and facial recognition technology at its entrance, retired Brig.-Gen. (res.) Amir Avivi told Reuters in an interview. 

- Hamas says it is ready to transfer the governance of Gaza to a Palestinian technocratic committee, while insisting the key Rafah Border Crossing be fully reopened within days, per the recent announcement of the technocratic committee’s chair.

- PM Netanyahu: We agreed to open the Rafah crossing; those who exit and those who enter undergo our full inspection. We are responsible for security at the Rafah crossing; the PA only issues a stamp for some visas. I don't think the Palestinian Authority will enter to manage Gaza, because the conditions President Trump presented to them are as long as the distance from here to Cyprus and back.

- A suspect in a potential terror stabbing at the Tunnels crossing near Yerushalayim was neutralized on Wednesday afternoon, the IDF and Israel Police confirmed.

No injuries have been reported, and IDF and police personnel are on the scene investigating the incident.
