DeleteHow can 10000 girls marry 2000 boys in bmg? What about the other 8000?
ReplyDeleteBMG is not the only place that has boys
DeleteThere are 10000 single guys in the West Bank. Many were once Americans. Some were even your neighbors. But your daughters rejected them
DeleteOf the 2000 boys in BMG, 90% will be married within a year of leaving the freezer.
DeleteFor the girls, waiting 4 years is normal and not even a cause for concern. Many of the 10K girls' bashert is still in EY or hasn't even gone yet
50 girls still not accepted to the schools they chose to apply to. Wonder what would have happened had they all applied to schools that had room instead of only applying to schools that are full with siblings . Just wondering .
ReplyDeleteIt's the age gap again!
DeleteGirls should apply later so there are more slots. If the schools would also open up a year or two earlier, Daas Torah confirms that all bnos Yisroel would have a spot.

DeleteWhat girls high school is not full of siblings?
DeleteThe poster mentioned that several schools are reducing their classes ,do obviously they are not full with siblings if last year they had 3 classes and this year they have 2. There are also several newer schools that don't have too many siblings yet .
Deleteanon - Your comment is insensitive. You dont know if that is the case
ReplyDeleteJust saying not always is the place that has room the right fit for the girl that doesn't have a school!
ReplyDelete3:10. You mean not every particular boy is appropriate for a particular girl. Wrong fit
DeleteWe all agree. But bottom line. If there us no room in other schools ,then it's mo different than bochrim who should be in higher level medivtas but can't get in . You can force schools to put 40 or50 in a class in order to satisfy every parent . Ab
