  1. Shul in wg was approved with no opposition. Hopefully now there won’t be anymore complaints about a lack of space and many other grievances and name calling. We could only hope.

    1. Obviously you want the exact opposite hence the “let’s stir the pot” comment.

      regardless
if this would be Jackson agudah would be screaming antisemitisim

    1. Reb Shlomo went to Yeshiva here in Lakewood, was a prized talmid of Rav Aharon.
      He never threw him out.
And his songs are sung all over Lakewood, and all over the world.

  3. I thought Hefkervelt was a better news alternative than the controlled opposition of other Jewish news sites. The CDC has lost all credibility. It is a sheker organization and is responsible for millions of deaths caused by its promotion of the clotshot.

  4. Hv is not much better than TLS as it’s also censored. Since they don’t have the same agenda as TLS it’s less censored. They choose which comments to post and which not so it’s NOT the voice of the tzibbur they claim to be.

  5. Why is it antisemitism that they allowed the expansion of the shul? I don’t know the facts behind the case so I am asking innocently please explain.

    1. When Jackson restricted the zoning for shuls and set minimum acreage everyone yells anti semitisin
Why is it different when yidden restrict other yidden because of sinah and force them by controlling how many seats a shul should have asidin litein es hadin

  6. Pls explain. How many seats was the new shul supposed to have and how many will it have now?

  7. What sinah are you talking about? I have many friends in wg and they have the most amazing ahavas Yisroel.

  8. Carlebach maybe WAS once a prize Talmud of R Aron, that was until he defected to Lubavitch and from there became a hippy involved with drugs, Nashim, etc. R Aron did not let him back into the Bais Medrish!

    1. That (except for Lubavitch) was after Rav Aharon was niftar. He couldn't have thrown him out. There are plenty of Lubavitchers in Lakewood (even a few Izbitzers).

  9. Why can’t you simply explain the facts of the case instead of writing these bitter comments? It may or may not be different than Jackson depending on what the opposition you claim there is/was…

  10. Westgate is a city within a city no one has any baalus on it or any right of claim to control it. a few self appointed ppl who convince themselves they are in charge are at fault for the many issues that go in from teenagers etc. There are not enough shuls to accommodate the 1000 families,[ no infrastructure in place to de with all the issues going on with children teens at risk shalom bayis parnossah quality of life etc.. you would think that priority number one would have been to deal with all of it and provide services and adequate shul space and infrastructure but instead all the lochs was put in to fight another kehila from chas veshalon having too big a building or a extra minyan. Kinah and sinah is the only sound explanation for what is done. The proof is in the pudding as the shuls outside Westgate are accomadating shul space for residents while nothing was done by the self appointees for 20 years

    1. The number of OTD kids, drugs, alcohol, “therapy/service” dogs etc in Westgate is really frightening. The Rabbanim who would have been able/willing to take care of issues have been unable to bite the bullet for fear of stepping on toes and consequential repercussions - vihamayvin yavin…

  11. It is true that more shul space in wg would be a good thing but the shul that is expanding is not one that many people want to go to. Shuls outside wg doing well are no proof that this shul needs more room in fact not a single person who goes outside wg would daven in this shul.

    1. What makes you say that no one wants to daven in that shul? What would make people not want to go there? The Rav is a very special person and to the best of my knowledge the Shul is well run and goes out of its way to accommodate the people who go there. Your comment sounds like you have an agenda to push.

  12. Otd kids and all the other issues mentioned is a sad reality in any big development and there is no proof it has anything to do with a lack of space in shul. Instead of expanding a shul nobody wants to daven in why don’t you pressure the builder to build more shuls so his renters have a place to daven?

  13. Just look how many people daven there and how many empty seats there are on a regular shabbos. I’ve done my research and this is what I hear.

  14. It’s like asking a shaileh - depending on what answer you want that’s who you ask. Your agenda is extremely obvious… let’s baschmutz the Shul & it’s Rav so we can make sure that “people don’t want to daven there”!

  15. I have no agenda to bashmutz the shul or the rov. They do a fine job themselves. When a rov calls people who don’t daven in his shul mizera amalek it doesn’t make him well respected. When mispalelim call their neighbors “mushchasim and nazis” amongst other names and then accuse their neighbors of sinah and kinah it doesn’t help their cause or make the rest of Lakewood sympathetic to their cause. Bh now it’s approved all of them could move on and hopefully ask mechila from their neighbors.

  17. Time you grew up and got your head out of the sand. There are lots of people who love the Shul and are happy to have a Rav whom they can actually respect, who isn’t just a puppet, as opposed to a Rav who is compared to a janitor by his “respectful” mispalelim.

  18. Wow the name callers and kvetches came back out of hibernation. Their shul expansion was approved and they are still not happy!! Is anyone surprised?
