Sill idea that will backfire big time. Can't understand what benefit it serves to allow schools and dormitories in residential zones.
ReplyDeleteThey will obviously require appropriate buffer areas, especially for the dorms, unlike some of the inconsiderate school owners in Lakewood that could care less about the neighbors.

FYI. This raffle ended 2 weeks ago, on July 18th. Furthermore, there is no evidence that this organization is indeed under the guidance of HaRav Shmuel Eliezer Stern. All the website shows is a general letter request by the Rav Shlita to assist the gabbai tzedakah for an organization with a name that sounds similar. It says nothing about it being under his guidance, and makes no mention of any yesomim it supposedly helps.
DeleteIf you wish to send tzedakah to this organization called TIKVAH LECHAIM, then go ahead. But there is zero chance that the $180 ticket you purchase can win you an apartment in Yerushalayim.
Why check your rates? If they’re all going up it won’t help anything. If it’s just one you could switch but if all do they will all get away with it.
