    2. The Rabbanim aren't silent. Avi never represented us. All the Schnall ads are misleading. He is still advertising widening Route 9 and tuition relief. A photo op with the roshei yeshivas is not an endorsement.

    4. He did vote for it see below
And according to the njleg link above he left it as a no vote.
Why didn't he just vote NO. he didn't even abstain, his vote was basically a yes vote without saying yes directly. It was enough to earn him an endorsement from the LGBT mushchasim equality coalition of New Jersey.

See both links below recording a YES vote by Avi Schnall for pride month FEH FEH FEH

Has our Assemblyman put out a statement about it? Even in Yiddish? (Has he invited these students to an Ice Cream House event?) (I use the Boro Park Ice Cream House for small business meetings, can't during 10AM to 2PM, store is full of BY girls mobbing the place.)

Why does your Yiras Shmayim begin with being anti pride but ends when it comes to being Motzie Shem Rah that Avi Schnall voted for it? You have too much empty time on your hands to keep on posting anti Avi shkorim.

  2. After lying about tuition and voting for higher taxes, Avi Schnall told the Chassidishe crowd last night that he plans to submit a bill to stop NJ American Water from raising prices. Do people really fall for empty promises from politicians who have already proven untrustworthy? It’s also a major chutzpah that he only reached out to the heimish-speaking crowd, while holding zero meet-and-greets with most of Lakewood’s Litvish residents.

  7. Here's my take.
The Vaad and 'leaders' of town have taken a pummeling in the past few election cycles. They approach politicians for favors for their businesses and undertakings, claiming to have the ability to produce a bloc vote. But they have often not been successful in delivering that many votes.
This time, they realized that they have a golden opportunity. Nobody really disagrees with them, there is no backlash, let's pretend that we can bring them thousands of votes, and without them, there would be none.
But for that they need the numbers. How would they do that? They set up a marketing system as though they have the oilam with them, and used the achdus card.
    And it's working!
More people than ever are voting, and the protest vote is going to the Va'ad's candidates.
When push comes to shove, they can deliver.
Now they will have protektzia with the EPA and other state officials to fast track their projects, the BOE will continue to be underfunded, and the traffic in Lakewood will increase past gridlock. When we have no way of answering back.

Rabosai, we need to organize. Start small, join a few shuls and produce a bloc vote of a couple of hundred votes. When you can show that, you can add until you make a difference. Don't demand instant results, don't make any alliances, and undertake that you will, under no circumstances, take any personal favors. None at all. Not even a PBA card.
