Degel HaTorah, under the leadership of Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch and Rav Dov Lando, has announced plans for a massive Atzeres Tefilah protest in the streets in response to the arrest of yeshiva bochurim by the IDF.

This marks the first time the Degel HaTorah leadership has called for public street demonstrations a form of protest previously associated with the Bnei Torah faction, led in the past by Rav Shmuel Auerbach zt"l and now by Rav Ezriel Auerbach shlita.
The shift in approach follows the recent arrests of students from mainstream Lithuanian yeshivos and the failure of political efforts to resolve the issue.
Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch consulted with Rav Dov Lando, who is currently in Los Angeles, and Rav Dov Lando reportedly expressed his full support, stating that this is the appropriate course of action at this time.
The protest is scheduled to take place this Sunday.
