- Polotico NJ: Premium increases for over 460,000 New Jersey residents who currently are on Affordable Care Act health plans are expected to skyrocket next year by more than $2,780 annually, or an increase of 175%, the state Department of Banking and Insurance said today.
The premium increases will affect residents who get federal subsidies through Get Covered NJ, the state's ACA marketplace.
According to the analysis, a family of four living in Ocean County with a household income of $131,000 would see a premium increase of $26,000 for the year without the enhanced tax credits currently at the center of the federal government shutdown fight in Washington.

Currently, the only nearby Bank of America branch is located on Route 70, near the Lakewood–Brick border. 1. You can see how the national media has no clue what really goes on in Lakewood. They’re all repeating the fake PR “achdus” marketing campaign, parroting headlines about a so-called “historic endorsement” by all the Jewish and rabbinical councils. Do they even realize that these are self-appointed, puppet councils controlled by the same powers that always run things here?

This endorsement means nothing. The natural frum vote in Lakewood has always been Republican, and the vast majority of people are voting for Jack Ciattarelli regardless.

The bigger chutzpah is that the Vaad continues to ignore Lakewood residents, who are now burdened with higher property taxes under their watch. They still haven’t addressed the deceptive Schnall campaign they pushed two years ago, promising “free tuition” that never materialized. No explanation, no apology just silence.

It’s the same story with the failed Josh Gottheimer campaign, when they pressured everyone to vote in a pointless primary for a fourth-place candidate with no chance. They keep abusing the community’s trust, hiding behind the guise of “daas Torah” while serving their own interests.

It’s time for accountability. The Vaad owes the Lakewood community an honest explanation—and they need to stop treating voters like children who are just expected to follow orders “because we said so.”

  3. The State won't allow Inzelbuch to represent our district as the Board attorney because he's so effective against them, so I and many of my friends & family decided to vote for him to become a member of the Board of Education. I can't wait to see him serve on the Board.

  4. Oy is this Inzelbuch separation going to cost the BOE millions. It happened before and it will happen again. Wait and see.

    1. That's a stupid question. I'm very certain that if you had a child which wasn't receiving the eductional sevices s/he is entitled to under the law, you'd also be filing a lawsuit to correct the wrong. Just daven that you're never placed in that situation and be thankful.

    2. When an attorney wins a case against the BOE, it doeesn't mean the taxpayers owed anyone anything. It means he's a better lawyer than whomever represented us.

  6. The BOE (taxpayers) owes the state millions to the state . It is time for the some fresh ideas and to have the BOE run properly. Shame the change the formula candidates are not running this year. Aaropn Lang should have full support from the BOE and committee for his lawsuit.

  7. Lakewood boosters of daas torah never thought the leopard would eat their face. You scream about us MO/DL, but we both want the same thing. I don't want the sewers in Beit Shemesh overflowing every motzei shabbos like they do in Bnei Brak now. Once you admit the whole thing - both in Israel and in America - is a corrupt scheme, we'll all be better off.

    1. Your vile slander of Bnei Brak is stupid. Bnei Brak did not need a police department for many, many years. They only got one due to crimes being committed in BB by people who don't live there, but came in to commit a crime. The only one screaming, buddy, is you.

I am suprised there is no letter from R Simcha Bunim. Unfortunately we don't havea R' Avigdor Miller.
