When Hamas confirms, the Ceasefire will be IMMEDIATELY effective, the Hostages and Prisoner Exchange will begin, and we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us close to the end of this 3,000 YEAR CATASTROPHE. Let's get it done, FAST. Everyone will be treated fairly!

Ceasing the operation to conquer the city of Gaza - further details:
1. Under the Chief of Staff's instructions, the IDF remains holding the lines captured so far in the city of Gaza - there is no forward advance of conquest, nor any retreat to rear lines. The three maneuvering divisions in the city of Gaza - are halted in place.
2. The IDF has strengthened efforts to defend the forces on the ground - and allocated additional forces of aircraft flying in the air, intelligence means, observations, and collection - with the aim of identifying any attempt by Hamas to challenge the forces.
3. The fire policy is: no deliberate strikes. Nevertheless - the IDF clarifies that any strike required to remove threats to the forces will be carried out. The strikes reported in Gaza in recent hours are strikes intended to remove threats to our forces, as well as to warn Gaza civilians against returning north to the city of Gaza.
