- Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed the cafeteria and damaged the auditorium of a former Catholic school building that until recently served as Piner Elementary School for the Lakewood Board of Education, officials said. Lakewood Fire Department, said the building was occupied by a private group at the time, but everyone inside was safely evacuated before the fire spread. Classes were not in session when the alarm was struck.

President Donald Trump ordered 300 Illinois National Guard troops federalized to protect federal enforcement efforts, overriding Governor JB Pritzker's refusal to activate them, amid escalating tensions between state and federal authorities.

    The shuk is meant for bargains otherwise you go to the regular mochrim

  5. The stuff in the shuk isn't quality.
    I ended going to my Rav, paid him a little more, got lulavhadassim aravot and holders and rings (yes, I have to tie them, or find some kid to do it for me) for $15 more, plus my Rav is happy with me. Instead of bargaining in the shuk.
