Israel At War Friday Oct 3

Israel at war day 728

- Hamas statement in response to Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza:
-We appreciate President Trump’s efforts to bring an end to the war
-We agree to release all the hostages in order to achieve a permanent ceasefire
-We are ready to enter immediately into negotiations to discuss the details
-We agree to hand over administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body of independent/unaffiliated figures

- Hamas praised President Trump's efforts and demanded clarifications regarding several clauses. Al Jazeera: Hamas has delivered its response to the mediators regarding the Trump plan.

- Trump: Hamas must agree to the framework by Monday at 1 AM or the gates of hell will open

“An Agreement must be reached with Hamas by Sunday Evening at SIX (6) P.M., Washington, D.C. time,” Trump wrote Friday on social media. “Every Country has signed on! If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.”

- Egyptian sources to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, affiliated with Hezbollah: Senior American officials clearly informed their counterparts in Cairo that "Trump's plan constitutes the last opportunity" before Israel is given a free hand to carry out a comprehensive military operation in the Gaza Strip, aimed at destroying Hams and the other factions

- Israel seizes last flotilla boat, readies to deport hundreds, as more ships set sail for Gaza
New 9-boat flotilla currently off coast of Greece; navy has intercepted 42 ships, detained 470 activists who tried to breach blockade, including Greta Thunberg; 4 deported so far

-Hamas will reply “positively” to US President Donald Trump’s proposal for ending the war in Gaza, while submitting a series of amendments, a source familiar with the negotiations told The Times of Israel

- The Mossad for Intelligence and Special Operations: On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, a terrorist cell was uncovered in Germany that is suspected of being connected to the Hamas organization and planning to carry out attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets. The arrest of the cell members was made possible thanks to close cooperation between the Mossad for Intelligence and Special Operations and the security and intelligence forces in Germany.

- Hamas Political Bureau member Mohammed Nazal: "We held internal consultations that lasted several days within the leadership institutions. We are looking for the gray areas in which we can operate. In the very near future, Hams will announce its position regarding the plan. We do not start from a standpoint of absolute rejection."
