Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch speaking at Prison 10 delivering a psicha shiur while a bochur is in jail for Draft dodging the IDF.

Does r bender know something we don't as they told us the bachurim were not to blame for the accident at all
ReplyDelete"drive with greater care and vigilance" Is not the same as saying they were to blame.
DeleteA flashing light beacon won't do the trick, and is a waste of money. it's a horribly dangerous intersection and needs proper traffic lights (and lanes on Finchley)
ReplyDeleteThe Zionists are like the Czar catching yeshiva boys to put them into shmad, is the czar still around? The Zionists will have the same end as the czar, contrary to misguided Dati Leumi community and modern "orthodox" in America who say a "prayer for the medina" we taka real frum pray for the medina/ Zionists like the rabbi in fiddler in the roof prayed for the czar.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the prayer they for the czar?
DeleteDid rabbis pray for the czars downfall הוי מתפלל בשלמה של מלכות?
Aguda continued saying tfillah lamelech even after 1933.
Deleteobviously you never watched Fiddler on the Roof, into what he is referencing.
DeleteUS, Europe have always been drafting yeshiva bochurim into their armies (when they had a draft.)
DeleteYeshiva bochurim in America still have to register for the draft. Nobody complains. No RYs, no Satmar. This is purely an anti-Zioni action by RYs and Satmar. Their government funding is being threatened (just like Mamdani.)

DeletePick up an old machzor
11:25 --- I am 11:23, and I saw it when I was ten years old. I vividly remember that scene (even though my parents are Hungarian.)
DeleteJews have always said prayers for the king, even czar Nicholai, my old shul had some really old siddurim with the tfillah and czar Nicholai's name in it. (My shul never said it, no matter which president.)
Rav Reuven Feinstein told me that he does not know why Hanoson Tesuah is not said in the US. As the posuk says
In a terrible גזירה on כלל ישראל ר"ל four precious neshomos were taken. May the family have a נחמה בתוך שאר חולי ישראל

While letters and proclamations imploring individuals to be careful driving are certainly needed, using this horrific tragedy as an opportunity is inappropriate and insensitive.
If he said something "frum" like the same old "be mechazek in learning" you here after every tragedy, no one would care. Unfortunately he gave a practical eitzah instead...
DeleteSorry, should read: בתוך שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים
DeleteUsing this tragedy to be mechazek young people to drive carefully - regardless of the fact that the boys were not at fault - is indeed appropriate and whatever lives and/or property damage will be saved as a result of this letter - will be a zechus for the niftarim.
Deleteומחה ה' דמעה מעל כל פנים.
👍
DeletePlease apply this as well when long sheitels are inevitably blamed as cause for the accident.
DeleteNot necessary now r' bender
ReplyDeleteI love the "now is not the time" - When is the time? When you moved on from the tragedy and you won't listen to what anyone says? Now is the time! and when there is a mass shooting it is the time to discuss guns mental health etc. . It may not be the time at a shiva house, but for the rest of the world it is a perfect time!
Deleteyup
DeleteI dont always agree with rabbi bender but this time he is spot on.7 bachurim were killed in accidents recently.we are not blaming.but we need to do something the remaining boys dont get hurt.common sense.pick one thing to improve thats all.rabbi bender did that.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should work on what we all have to work on and stop pointing fingers and saying why this happened And a side note let's respect our gedolim
ReplyDeleteWould lecturing about the need for proper gun safety be appropriate when a Israeli soldier is ר"ל killed by friendly fire? Anyone who thinks so should go for help.
ReplyDeleteSorry to the with it menahel R Bender, very inappropriate!
ReplyDeleteIf he didn't lecture about safety since the begging of bein hazmanim then perhaps now is not the time when 4 families are sitting shiva on a gezeirah min hashamayim.
ReplyDeleteNot every event has to be made into an opportunity
if you think that our collective driving needs no improvement you are nuts.this has nothing to do with gezeira min hashamayim concept.it has to do with common sense if 7 boys die lets focus on some improvement.something.even just generally lets b extra careful or everyone can pick an area to improve.or Ill say it even though its controversial let there be an IMPROVEMENT on how our teenagers are socially accepted to drive.no blame.just general improvement.if you say “no improvement” it was a gezeira then you are taking zero responsibility.rabbi bender is saying we r not blaming anyone chas vshalom but be smart and improve your driving and have sensible chinuch rules like saying your teenage bachur cannot use ur car after 2 am etc.no blame just common sense
Deletehas the Vaad / Daas Torah formally endorsed Jack if yes we must put in cherem those who raised $$$ for Sherrill.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the vaad put out a rumor on the Lakewood scoop about a Ciattarelli endorsement in order to get Sherrill to come running and they will get what they want from her
Deletethe vaad officially endorsed Ciattarelli
DeleteWhy does she refuse to condemn Hamas?
DeleteWhy does Tomohawk allow a terrorist supporter in their building?.
Find out what other restaurants the same owner owns, and boycott him as a terrorist supporter. And anti semite supporter.
Not just the other restaurant, but we must boycott anyone who patronizes a restaurant owned by someone who also owns another restaurant who didn't refuse an order from a person who didn't condemn Hamas from 5,000 miles away.
DeleteAlso, we need to boycott anyone who drives on the same highways as someone who patronizes a restaurant owned by someone who also owns another restaurant who didn't refuse an order from a person who didn't condemn Hamas from 5,000 miles away.
And then we need to boycott anyone who breathes the recycled oxygen of anyone who drives on the same highways as someone who patronizes a restaurant owned by someone who also owns another restaurant who didn't refuse an order from a person who didn't condemn Hamas from 5,000 miles away.
To all those who brought sherrill to town did you ask her about tuition?
ReplyDeleteOr her support of Gaza and Mamdani?
No you didnt... you care ONLY about your own pockets
YOU DO NOT REPRESENT THE LAKEWOOD COMMUNITY PLEASE DONT SPEAK ON OUR BEHALF
It's understandable that the BMG and healthcare industry people were there..... that is the reality of democracy...... but what was the LSTA doing there???
