  1. Oak Street (aka Simcha Hall Boulevard) was a zoo last night. Cars Were parked everywhere along Oak because the parking lots were overwhelmed. Tiferes Bais Yaakov hired security at both their access points to stop more cars from flooding their lot. But that did nothing to help us drivers on the street. The area was a disaster zone.

It's time for our land use boards to require simcha halls to build multi-floor parking garages to clear up the on-street congestion.

    1. The school owners who build simcha halls without sufficient parking are no different than the greedy developers that manipulate the system in creative ways to construct dense developments without providing a shul and playground for the residents. In the end everyone suffers, besides for the owner/developer who laughs at all of us while he stuffs his wallet with our hard-earned dollars.

  5. Not only are the builders guilty here but so are the people who bought and moved in and now claim nizkay schechainim. They are just as guilty as the builders.

    1. If they were amongst those who backed the development beforehand (eg got themselves on a list )they are guilty ,though a a tad less than the grubby developers

If once it was established they happen to move in, how are they guilty
Are they supposed to organize a boycott?
