    1. Ab has no clue what the rabbanim know.

You are more than welcome to an intelligent discussion. Just throwing out your sort of attack suggests an unwillingness to do so. Likely because you're fearful of it.

    2. I am no Skverer but it's not okay to react like that. It is akin to saying הני רבנן which makes someone into an apikores רח"ל

    3. They are actually 100% right. ChatGPT and the likes have all 3 chamuros. In due time there will be kosher options.

    4. They wrote that as a service it's equivalent to using unfiltered internet in regards to the information one is able to access through it. Pretty straightforward and no need for heckling.

    5. Using the internet is and has always been assur without safeguards. AI is beyond the jnternet and has many more uses and ramifications. It's still its infancy, and no different than the early rabbanim that assered electricity or the telephone. They have no understanding of what AI is. They assume it's just another search engine which it isn't.

    6. Abit stupid it's like saying C÷÷ or TCPIP is trayf chazer. AI is a technical format of gathering data and executing it according to the instructions. How about saying writing in yiddish is full of the gimel aveiros because the yiidishisten used the yiddish language to promote these aveiros!
In yiddish I would call it platchik.
It is a terrible chill hashem of the silly hot headed severe askunim who publish a letter like this with zero תוכן! You are mevazeh your own rabbanim!

What is the point to get on and not get into shiur at all just for the shidduch resume. The olam has already moved on from this
You can get top boys from Pragers yagdil reb Dovid Mir and other fine yeshivos

      Delete
    2. No one waits anymore to get into shiur the sons are taking over and there is a choice if a few daily shiurum it is still a top place that produces future marbirzei torah despite all the faults

      Delete
    3. IT does not produce anything. Perhaps many of the future marbitzei torah learn there but, learning there is definitely not what makes them future marbitzei torah, as most people who learned there will readily testify.
The whole need to learn there is an oversized hot air balloon. Unfortunately (that is not to say that hundreds of very fine boys and others do learn there)

  3. Who is funding this new shidduch “crises letter” campaign to the scoop? Do they really believe that by bullying Roshei Yeshivas to agree with their agenda they will solve the shidduch crises?

    1. The shidduch crisis warriors have been bullying the roshei yeshiva for the last 20 years. The poop lives off sensation and click bate. Don't fall for the propaganda

    2. "The shidduch crisis warriors" what a term?
What are you a heartless animal who doesnt care about the pain of literally thousands of your sisters and their families who feel totally forgotten and neglected?! I think you should check your yichus as members of klal yisroel are known to be rachmonim. Whoever tries to minimize this situation going on is a a complete רשע.

      Delete
    3. Whoa what makes you more of a Rachman than others who are also helping singles with shidduchim in other ways besides public ads attacking our yeshivos???
Do you think there's only one way and anyone who disagrees is a רשע that needs their yichus checked?
Calm down don't get so triggered because someone said warrior

    4. I don't understand the whole shidduch crisis numbers.

One thing is clear. The Shulchan Aruch paskins that you must get married at 18. Anyone who goes against the Shulchan Aruch is not an Orthodox Jew.

    1. This rabbi is not enough of a talmid chacham to have an opinion on what, how and where, bnei kollel should be learning. And he certainly has no right publicly "calling" on the gedole roshie yeshiva to tell them what they should be telling their talmidim. All he actually accomplished with this nice drasha, is to belittle bnei torah in the eyes of the baal habatim listening to this shiur, and for that he should be ashamed.

    3. What has Rabbi Twersky done to help make younheleit in the first place.
Did he open kollelim did he facilitate torah learning?
Did he raise money to support lakewood youngeleit?
It's easy to give a shiur to men and women about what he feels kolel youngeleit should be doing.
In his own shitah did he not see the thousands of BMG/Torah vodaas/Mir/Brisk/Telz/Torah Temima/Philly/Long Beach/ Passaic alumni teaching torah across the world?
Is that not good enough for him?
Let him say it straight up he wants the Lakewood yeshiva and all kollelim to shut down.

      Delete
    4. Let him say straight up he has no appreciation for what's taking place in BMG. It's the rosh yeshivas position to say when someone's shtaiging should transition fromללמוד to ללמד. A shul Rabbi has as much place in that discussion, as a billboard has the place to preach eliminating a grade of mesivta.

    5. He sounds like he's addressing Lakewood, why doesn't he address Bobov where he comes from?

      Delete
    6. Let's understand this:

A nice guy from Milwaukee is addressing Roshei Yeshiva. How? Through a private letter?
      Through a phone call?
      Through a personal visit?

No, no and no. Instead, Through a "ruffling of the feathers 'shiur'".

      Got it. קשוט לעצמך...

    7. The Sin'as Hatorah of that speaker beggars belief. He can get a job writing in the Forward.

      Delete
    8. Why doesn't he ask chabad to open a kollel there? Because the chabad system of going out to teach at the expense of one's own Torah growth, has failed. But yet he wants BMG to do the same.

      Delete
    9. The speaker is complaining that we have large centers of Torah and people shteiging themselves, without thinking about the rest of the world. He is claiming that yungeleit should be sent to towns all across America to build communities and Kollelim that will uplift every single one of those towns. He claims that Torah that is not shared is not Torah.

      1. If he would be talking about teaching Torah to others, encouraging it and explaining its benefits, that would be one thing. As soon as he says that Torah without spreading to others (read: Kiruv) is worthless, he has passed over the line. Calling Torah worthless is hatred.

      2. The idea that kiruv is the only way to spread Torah is another mistake. A Yeshiva man who learns with someone in his Shul, who acts as an example of someone who lives an elevated life in Lakewood, Monsey, Boro Park and Williamsburg. He doesn't have to move to Orem, Utah for that.

      3. Zilzul in Torah Lishmah is literally the topic of the Nefesh Hachaim. Chalila to be mezalzel in it.

      4. This complaint is not a new one. In Reb Aaron's days, well-meaning, and otherwise, BaaleiBatim would complain about this to him. But he knew that without a strong core, there is no real Harbotzas Torah.

      5. The Chazon Ish would say, "The Chafetz Chaim could have begun his public work in his youth. But he he stayed in the Beis Hamedrash till his old age. Then he could change the world in a short amount of time." A Yungerman who goes out to 'change the world' at a tender age will never accomplish too much. If he has spent time learning and teaching himself that the only thing that is important is a Tosfos, it will be easier for him to teach that lesson to others when he is older. Sending people out at a young age is a false economy, like buying half a tank of gas.

    1. Sorry, you're so wrong. I think that you should challenge the idea that he only, or primarily takes bochurim from wealthy backgrounds. I have not been in the haaq in recent years, but it certainly wasn't this way. He took many bochurim who didn't have money and rejected many from wealthy families.

However, a yeshiva is absolutely not a personal business. It's a responsibility to Hashem. It has to be treated that way.

  9. People that have nothing to do with yeshivos and kollelim are preaching their daios telling the roshei yeshiva how to run their business. This is going on since the beginning of time it just shows itself and hides in different ways with excuses of ahidduch crisis or kollel guys have to go out and teach bla bla..

    1. Sorry but you don't get to control the narrative. Your way of dealing with the shidduch crisis does not mean it is the only way and anyone else who does not agree is heartless.
There are others who cry and daven and are active redding shidduchim and don't necessarily agree with the shidduch crisis campaign and bully tactics. Accept the truth there's differences of opinion not everyone is jumping on your bandwagon

  11. What happened to nix the pix campaign? Mothers are choosing girls based on pictures that they like. Theyre airbrushed and photoshopped. When the boy picks her up hes confused how this is the same girl as in the pic. We are not allowing the boys to choose what they find attractive!!
