It’s not בשם השם
ReplyDeleteWhy take people to remote place where there is no regular forum infrastructure it’s like the original Zionist’s with a goal of Ahmad of the young generation with nothing else but that
It’s not the holy tzadikim going to towns in Eretz Yisroel soaked in תורה ויראת שמים
Going to a town devoid of Torah is a set up for reliance on zionists and pure shmad
your comments are so dumb. Not even worth a response
DeleteOh and marketing 10 story buildings reminder the chazon ish didn’t allow more then 5 stories in order to ensure a Neighborhood of people that are only shomer shabbos
ReplyDeleteCHazon Ish? Allow? Was he a chassidishe Rebbe or something? How does he get to 'allow' things?
DeleteThe CI made suggestions at his time, not 'allowances' and rulings
DeleteHe literally would sit down with the Architects and their designs to make sure that the buildings will not have more than four stories
this was during the British mandate and after
So from 'not allowing' we have reached 'sitting down'. Sounds like the trajectory is going just fine.
DeleteHe never said it, and even if he did, it has diddly squat to do with this story
Doesn’t the Rambam pasken that Acco is Chu”l? (פ״א תרומות ה״ט). Is this area south of ancient Acco (EY) or north (potentially Chu”l M’doraysa)?
ReplyDeleteOur holy balei tosafos like the ri and his talmidim lived in acco

Did anyone ask if they will allow shuls to be built and will follow daas Torah? Or will the kids not have seats in shul like one development in Lakewood?
ReplyDeleteThe ikker shayla is: Is it Akko or Acco?
ReplyDeleteIt’s Acre
DeleteAll the speakers are very nice and smiley, full of confidence.
ReplyDeleteAll very nice. Can we have a list of Rabbonim, Roshei Yeshiva that support this project, please. So far I haven't seen any.
Go to the asifa and ask
Deletetoo tall the buildings, too many floors.
ReplyDeleteShabbos elevators are really not the way 2 go.
No Sucah porches, shlep downstairs? no for me.
Any single family or duplexes, etc. available? priced right?
Why kiryas Lakewood? is it really that great?
ReplyDeleteCall it נהרדעא, which is actually Lake wood in Aramaic.
Kiryas Toms River
DeleteThis might be a grave mistake, as many kids go off in this very situation.
ReplyDeleteall things being equal the present situation is hardly likely to be better long-term
Deletethose who are relying on things are remain the same and inertia are bigger fools
Can anyone be so absolutely
sure
of anything
every single day you can
weigh
if tomorrow might be a mistake
don't worry. no one is really going.
