  3. To date there has not been even one study showing any corrolation between government restrictions and case reduction.

These regulations are knee-jerk reactions from politicians who want to create the perception that they are actively fighting the virus, while all human freedoms are forever threatened.

    1. The politicians are listening to the scientists. The scientists are making the recommendations.
It seems that they don't work in half measures. Only when they are extremely strict do they work. When people start finding ways out and heteirim, they don't work.

    2. Look at Australia, New Zealand,Thailand and others where there was 100 compliance; they are exploding, so all they did was kick the can down the road.

And he politicians are not following any science, as is clear from the outstart. And stop blaming the people- who listened to guidelines and still got no results at all.

And in any case, the government has no right to cancel human rights based on flimsy theories. Yet they are doing so because the nature of government is to grab power whenn that can- especially with fear mongering, like throwing around scary words like "variants" .

    3. Those countries did a lot better per capita than America did. Why?

Your view of governments' rights seems to be based on your own navel. Why shouldn't they do the best they can with the best information they have?

And variants are quite scary. If this pandemic isn't nipped in the bud, through vaccination as well as isolation, we could have a new variant that will be even worse. So we have a moral and Torah obligation to stop it as best as we can.

  4. once again- The LIC is getting land for $1.
Can anyone tell me what they do or how they help the tax payer?

  5. The LIC is where all the corruption happens the members were not elected by the lakewood tax payers but they get to take land from the township and then give it away or sell it. Even when they sell it the money goes for their projects and salaries it does not go back into the township bank accounts to help reduce taxes.
The LIC industrial commission should be shut down

    1. Ok, I couldn't figure it out. Tomchei Shabbos is an awesome organization, but the Internet tells me that this company incorporated in 2017, when TS is a lot older than that.
