BOROUGH PARK -News 12
  A man was was found dead in a car fire in Borough Park. It happened at the intersection of 39th Street and 12th Avenue, which has been closed off as police
investigate. The fire started just before 3 a.m., erupting inside a 2018 Honda parked on the sidewalk. Police tell News 12 when they arrived at the scene they found a man sitting in the driver’s seat. Firefighters
worked to get to the victim, but he was unresponsive and already dead by the time they got there. No one else was in the car at the time of the fire. The driver was pronounced dead on scene. Police are canvassing the area for surveillance footage of what may have cause the flames. No word yet on what caused the flames but police, firefighters and the medical examiner are working to find out how the man died, who he is and how the fire started
