- Trump: The Republican Party is doing really well. Millions of people have joined us in our quest to MAKE AMERICA, GREAT AGAIN. We won every aspect of the Presidential Election and, based on the great success we are having, are poised to WIN BIG IN THE MIDTERMS. We have raised far more money than the Democrats, and are having a great time fixing all of the Country Destroying mistakes made by the Biden Administration, and watching the USA heal and prosper. The results are incredible, a record pace!!! In that light, I am thinking of recommending a National Convention to the Republican Party, just prior to the Midterms. It has never been done before. STAY TUNED!!! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ReplyDeleteWishful thinking.
DeleteIt's more about weeding out those that shouldn't have been there in the first place.
Just because a bochur is a baal kishron and gets into a good yeshiva doesn't mean he's very committed
Starts with a trickle . .
DeleteI still do not understand why camps in Lakewood have to cost so much money!! It drains our bank accounts unnecessarily.
ReplyDeleteIn Monsey, camps cost almost half the price for a full summer compared to half a summer in Lakewood. Day camps in Lakewood costed about $900-$1000 for half the summer depending on the age. In Monsey, day camp costs about $600 for a full summer.
Why cant we tone it down and not charge parents so much money? Where is all the money going to? I had girls working in camps this summer, and they got paid about $100 a week for working hard as a counselor (with another girl) of a full bunk. Where does all the money go?
It would be excellent if we can audit the camps to figure out why the price keeps increasing each year. It has become completely unaffordable!!!
The camps pay exorbitant amount of rent to the schools for the summer. It's the same school building that's been charging parents for building fees and got sponsors for the name etc..
DeleteIf camp is essential as all mechanchim say let the school owners charge minimal expenses for the camps that the same kids attend. It would bring down the costs enormously.
Also camp owners should disclose how much they profit vs how much it costs to operate camp.
Balloney the camps are making millions
DeleteComplaining, complaining. Nisht kan yiddishe zach. It's also not appropriate for a ben Torah. If the camps are making so much money, why don't you open one and only charge 10% of the going rate. You'll fill up very quickly.
DeleteLabor day protest planned for Lakewood NJ... joining the national movement to Stop... corrupting our government.
ReplyDeleteProtect and defend....
Fully funded schools
Scary stuff. These protesters, or those they support, are the people who corrupted the US government to send millions and millions to the gaza (and other) terrorists and helped coordinate Oct 7th. It's just one of many other corruptions.
These are the people who are fighting against successful charter schools all over the country. These are the people who demand everyone go to public schools, and that only public schools should be funded - despite their abysmal success rate, which is only getting worse.
What brings them to Lakewood? A brazen attempt to intimidate us?
These are the people who breathe oxygen and produce carbon dioxide.
DeleteBan all of those from our streets.
Teacher's unions
DeleteA shame that the high taxes are effecting the taxpayers. Most VAAD members (yes the ones that tell who to vote for but are no where else to be seen) dont pay taxes.
ReplyDeleteWho else the committee giving tax abatements for? It is unbelievable the enteir Ave of Americas was taken from taxpayers and given to 'special interests and (almost) tax free office buildings and those same peole are telling us who to vote for. Any idea how much less are taxes woiudl be if peole on the committee represented the taxpayers and the buildings were all taxable? If all the recent tax abatements in town were not given out? This needs to stop and all encumbents need to be voted out.
“Most vaad members” lol
DeleteThere’s like 2 people hello.
Who are they?
Why are we listening to unnamed signs.
Giyus: A bochur has.... [been browbeaten and abused, which led him to have] enlisted... This follows reports from last month that nearly 30 bochurim .... have also signed up [after being browbeaten and abused] to enlist.

MAybe they just decided to join? ONly these boys were beaten nobody else? Stop with the propaganda
DeleteHow come you are not posting the letters of bais havaad that recently came out with rabonim all supporting the bais din?
DeleteMaybe they were browbeaten in our chinuch system and didn’t fell good about themselves and wanted an out… be it the peer pressure or emotional abuse by parents rebbeim or mashgichim ???/
DeleteOr maybe he learned so well he came to the maskonas hasugya and realized he is halachacly required to enlist for the milchemas mitzvah of saving other yidden.
