- Apparently, several Orthodox Jews were chased by a man with a knife at the Mobil gas station on Route 42 in South Fallsburg tonight. The suspect then fled the scene. A police chase ensued, and the suspect later crashed his car on Annawana Lake Road in Monticello, where he was taken into custody. Be reportedly made some antisemitic remarks.
- The Federal Aviation Administration said on Friday it is proposing to extend flight cuts at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport through October 2026 as it continues to face air traffic controller shortage and congestion issues. Under the amended order, the FAA would allow 36 arrivals and 36 departures per hour at Newark outside of the construction periods from October 2025 to October 2026, down from a high of about 77 per hour.(Onejersey)

- Giyus Update: Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, shlita, together with prominent Rabbonim from Shas, paid a visit to the prison where yeshivah bochurim are being held due to issues related to IDF draft refusal. During the visit, Rav Hirsch requested that the bochurim be granted additional time to learn in the prison's beis medrash, citing that their rooms are too small to accommodate proper learning.
