Menu For Shaleshudes This Week

The Gemara in says מסכת תענית
דתניא זתשעה באב שחל להיות בשבת וכן ערב תשעה באב שחל להיות בשבת אוכל ושותה כל צרכו ומעלה על שולחנו אפילו כסעודת שלמה בשעתו

On a year   when erev Tisha B"A v falls out on shabbos not only that there's no סעודת המפסקת but one can eat meat and drink wine like the Seuda of Shlomo Hamelech in his prime.
What's on the menu?
People try to traditional foods that are eaten before a fast to help you stay hydrated.

This year stores are advertising "Sushi salad"as a trend for a  staple  and many will be eating.

Here are Some tips offered for an easy fast by n betweencarpools

It’s not good to have protein before a fast as protein uses more water to digest and can actually dehydrate you. It’s best to have complex carbs.

Adequately salt your food. A lot of people think they need to cut out salt before a fast, but salt actually helps draw water into the cells and helps with water retention (you obviously don’t want overly salty food, but as much salt as you’d usually use is fine!)
