- A senior official in PM Netanyahu's office: We are going to take over the Gaza Strip - the decision has been made. Hams will not release any more hostages without complete surrender, we will not surrender. If we do not act now, the hostages will die of hunger - and Gaza will remain under Hams' control.
- Following the expectation of an expansion of the campaign and the political echelon's demand to occupy the Strip: IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir cancels a trip he had planned to the US this evening for a farewell ceremony for CENTCOM Commander General Kurilla, as well as for a series of meetings with senior officials in the Pentagon and the American security establishment. - Aircraft from Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Germany, Belgium, and — for the first time — Canada, airdropped 120 pallets of humanitarian aid in the northern and southern Gaza Strip today, the IDF says.
