Even Neptune’s  Democratic Mayor, Robert Lane, condemned the formula, saying, “…we are now witnessing a crisis driven not by local mismanagement, but by state-level decisions that have decimated school funding.” We need a new formula. We’ll get one when I’m Governor. IT’S TIME.

  1. It doesn't look like the average Orthodox Jew identifies anymore with the Israeli chareidi position vis a vis helping to serve and protect ey . They're becoming increasingly isolated. Sadly, it seems that the Israeli gedolim that support boycotting service are slowly losing their influence with the american oilam

    5. Sadly the American עולם התורה is occasionally confused with modox and דתי לאומי. Perhaps this due to calling secular colleges yeshivos.

  2. That Chabad house is over a hundred years old. Big, but a firetrap.
A few years ago, someone threatened the Rav, I think there were shots fired, was prosecuted as a hate crime, I suspect a further hate crime.
The family lives in the house.

    1. The Gedolim did not call for complaints (directed at those who do nothing without "permission" from "their" RYs, as opposed to other RYs)

Then again, the RYs did nothing about the recent police activity till some residents did complain.

Wake up and call on the RYs to help residents.

    2. According to commenters here, the only complaints allowed are by RYs, who decline to complain.
Did you or anyone talk to them?

  5. That building also housed a large day camp for Passaic cheder boys.

It was the previous rabbi (who was never a Chabadsker) who was threatened - something like 13 years ago. If there was ever a weird & sad outcome! The frierdik announced one day he is going OTD, was megaresh the rebbitzen and took the pulpit of a frey temple.

I've got a great deal on bridge for you, out in Brooklyn. For the excellent price of $____ the Brooklyn Bridge can be yours.

What stupidity to justify this guy's sad rebellion against Hashem, His Torah and His people. He has no other way to instill happiness and excitement into Bnos Yisroel? Just take a look around at the multitudes - כן ירבו - of happy bnos Yisroel who are enthusiastic to do Hashem's will, happily.
