Joe Biden was not for Open Borders, he never talked about Open Borders, where criminals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes, can flow into our Country at will. It wasn't his idea to Open the Border, and almost destroy our Country, and cost us Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to get criminals out of our Country, and go through the process we are going through now. It was the people that knew he was cognitively impaired, and that took over the Autopen. They stole the Presidency of the United States, and put us in Great Danger. This is TREASON at the Highest Level! They did it to destroy our Country. The Joe Biden that everybody knew would never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted. All anyone has to do is look up his record. Something very severe should happen to these Treasonous Thugs that wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn't, because I came along. - Letter: The roshei yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha (BMG), are urging the Lakewood community to register to vote ahead of the upcoming state primary elections.
As we approach the upcoming primary elections in our region, we take this opportunity to express our heartfelt message to you:
As Torah-observant Jews, we are obligated to show appreciation for the kindness of a country that allows us to live peacefully and securely, and which grants us the right to vote a right that has helped safeguard our values and support our institutions. We believe this is a responsibility that should not be neglected.
As is well known, participating in elections in a respectful manner is an important and valuable opportunity to bring significant benefit to communal needs by helping to elect worthy candidates.
We therefore call upon everyone to register in the voter rolls (voting registration), so you will be able to participate in the elections — thereby strengthening our communal civic influence and benefiting the broader public.
With great respect and blessing,
On behalf of the administration of Beth Medrash Govoha

- Update on bill A5460 (Schnall/Abdelaziz/McCoy) - Revises value of solar alternative compliance payment.
Over a dozen representatives from various companies and organizations commented on Thursdays meeting. The major points brought up in opposition to A-5460 were:
The New Jersey state legislature has for decades encouraged residents and businesses to invest in solar. There were clear incentives laid out that supported long-term investment in solar. A-5460 changes these incentives after people have invested.
A-5460 will financially harm over 50,000 residents who installed solar on their homes between 2012 and 2020. Since this was “for discussion only” the result of this hearing is that there is significant opposition to this bill. The authors and the backers of the bill did not testify. It is rumored that the Governor's office and BPU are not supportive of this Assembly bill and are supportive of the Senate bill S-4300

Do not listen to any paid off self appointed askanim telling you to register as a Democrat. The candidates are all promoting the worst hashchasa of Abortion and accepting lgbt. This will have a direct sakaana ruchniyus on our children and communities
ReplyDeleteRegistering as a Democrat doesn't mean that the Democrats will win the election.
DeleteIt also doesn't mean that the candidate you vote for in the primary will win the election.
It just means that out of a roster of people who don't represent our interests, we can choose the one who will cause the least damage.
It is not a statement on the person's suitability for the job, nor on his personal morals. It isn't even a choice for Governor.
What's the point of voting when the bloc vote is manipulated by powerful individuals who exploit it for personal gain? Grants and public funds meant to serve the broader community are instead funneled into private projects. It's a chutzpa to keep urging people to vote while a self-appointed few present themselves to politicians as if they represent the entire community—only to walk away with all the resources.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, the real needs of Lakewood—its infrastructure, its services—are ignored, and the taxpayers who actually vote see none of the benefits. The community must demand full transparency from politicians: where every dollar is going, who it’s helping, and how decisions are being made.
According to halacha, there must be a vaad elected by the town's residents who pay taxes to represent them—not a self-anointed group claiming authority without public mandate.
cool, this moron commenter learned how to use AI
DeleteGo ahead and let your vote get abused
DeleteThe Torah and chazal speak out in the strongest of terms against people in leadership positions who take advantage in a monetary way by getting rich off the backs of the poor
It looks like the paid off trolls are here to attack anyone who calls out the theft and corruption regarding the public funds
According to Halacha, the Rabbonim get a tax exemption too.
DeleteI don't think we want that.
The following went up in shuls this week across Lakewood regarding the "gold" 24six devices without WIFI. It is in the Safecell newsletter, very much on target.
ReplyDeleteנזם זהב באף חזיר
Golden Illusion: Missing the point
A new category of streaming devices has emerged in the Jewish market, dedicated music (and sometimes video) players created specifically for children, including 24Six, Zing, and Naki, each offering its own unique features and style. Since smartphones are unsuitable for our children, these devices fill a particular niche. Although aimed at youngsters, companion smartphone apps are also available.
We must understand what these devices offer. Comparing them to a regular MP3 player is like comparing a bike to a motorcycle; it is oh so different. Unlike basic MP3 players, they provide continuous, personalized entertainment. The software learns preferences, constantly introducing new music and videos. Features similar to Spotify include popular music leaderboards and personalized year-end summaries highlighting listening milestones.
The critical question is whether we want our children using devices that deliver unlimited, on-demand entertainment 24/6-365. Will this draw them away from what matters most and immerse them in entertainment? Will it cause them to idolize and become involved in the entertainment culture?
While a small subset of children may benefit from constant distraction, most children, Baruch Hashem, do not require such extensive entertainment.
The primary concern is whether these devices support or hinder our children's growth in Torah and Yiras Shamayim. Framing this as a debate about internet or Wi-Fi misses the point entirely.
Ummmm.. it’s amazing, kosher only music/stories no videos or podcasts -parents can filter out singers they don’t like. Keeps kids busy on long winter nights listening to stories etc… never kept them from going outside and playing. We have it for two years already and it’s amazing . It’s good for downtime not on it constantly (not so exciting after a while). Not everything is a problem! Don’t need to find fault with everything. MP3’s present a much bigger issue because they need to go on computer to download music and they can get from friends etc… this is way safer
DeleteYou mean it finds new songs after you get bored of the old ones! It’s a nefarious plot to control our children’s brains! Some app somewhere knows I like shwekey more then mbd! Hide the children!
DeleteIf they are trying to make a point, they shouldn’t just ask on open ended question without answering it.
DeleteI’ve had a Naki for years. I don’t see how getting illegal downloads on an mp3 that no parent knows how to check is a better arrangement.
I feel like I am back at bmg's coffee room where every guy thinks he is such an important figure to the klal that his opinion is even cared about!!
ReplyDeletePlease continue posting with this in mind that no one actually cares what you think.
I was in BMG for many years. I don't recall any of the nonsense written here being said in the coffee room there. I certainly don't recall the anger I see here being common there.
DeleteWas also there for quite while. Some commentors here are way more savvy than almost anything there.
DeleteLet me recount some debates from there a couple decades ago.
Go ahead. Recount.
DeleteI don't care whether 10:21 AM is AI or his own thoughts. Either way, he's correct. As a very long time resident of Lakewood, I used to march in step with the vaad. But after I see what happened to our once beautiful (in ruchniyus and in gashmius) town, I do not follow the recommendations of the vaad anymore.
ReplyDeleteAnon 10:21 is 10000% correct
ReplyDeleteLook at all the public grants that went to lakewood from Chris Smith Bob Singer Murphy Schnall and other politicians
It's almost all for projects set-up in advance by well connected askanim who funnel the money to their organization and projects using the power of the bloc vote to enrich themselves גזלת ממון הצבור
As they divert public money that should go to help the infrastructure in town or even lower taxes instead they come up with fancy legal lawyer phrases about easing traffic senior development etc.. that goes to their created ngos
Just as was exposed by DOGE with USAid
The same thing goes on locally
The askanim want a Democrat in Trenton they feel that Gottheimer is in the best position to beat Ciattarelli in a one on one since the other dems are exreme radical.
ReplyDeleteThey want to push Gottheimer now in the primary so he can beat Jack in November.
Gottheimer could be against vouchers but lakewood frum media were paid off to market for him so he must be the right choice
ReplyDeleteThe fake news watsapp is out of control spewing idiocy one after the next each one stupider and stupider its a laughing stock
DeleteLet's get rid of being a yid cuz will save some money
Every burp is magnified as a given
that must be repeated and discussed.
He feels that the public school should educate 3 and 4 year old. So if you get CHS for that age it will disappear because you can send to public school.
Delete6:56,Are you phony on his Rolodex?
DeleteWho cares, he disgraces the term yid
DeleteRYK was asked about voting for such type of yidden He retorted: nein, nein. Besser ān anti-semit
