The posters also could not have a direct impact on the elections as they were put up in Charedi neighborhoods in Israel, whose residents could not vote in the American World Zionist Congress elections, which ended earlier this month.
Yes, there are definitely no Americans hanging around the around the Chareidi neighborhoods in Yerushalayim, not at all! What shtus. No honest person buys this, but some people are so blinded by hatred for Eretz Hakodesh they'll believe any nonsense in order to persuade themselves that the non-Orthodox movements aren't happy with what they're doing.
ReplyDeleteThe signage definitely had no impact on people's opinion since people's opinions were formed and rabbis have already spoken out 6 years ago but there is a grain of truth there that they're unhappy that the EH is coming and taking some of their best paying jobs. As usual follow the money...
ReplyDeleteHearing the new shidduch initiative done any letters from the rabbis
ReplyDeleteWhat does done mean? It's over? Or they are done creating the rules?
DeleteAs in over as the data did not back up the solution to hold girls back a full year
Delete't was not a shidduch initiative. It was more like a new order agenda tactic, didn't go their way, they will still try again. B'chol dor v'dor..
DeleteSend the girls to other classes for other degrees away from judaic lessons, push off marriage, for those who will marry.
Obviously everything very slowly and patiently, involve some mitzvos, especially bein Odom lchaveoro, and for the 'klal' etc. involve rabbis and so called daas torah etc,
any letters? serious?
Deletecan't ever admit openly they were wrong.
They can claim it was publicized prematurely without their consent, therefore they don't have to be responsible now either.
DeleteHilarious. there is no data they didn't start analyzing the data and it did not close down because of data. This is the dark little secret that all the movers and shakers do not put any effort into figuring out the cause of the problem or the scope of it which would help tremendously. (For example how many boys are older and are not getting married.... a rather important data point) It's all about ideas and theories no facts
DeleteOr the public to their credit refused to gullibly fall in anymore re: movers & shakers & their fiats.
DeleteIirc a daughter of some big macher involved recently got engaged although she is in seminary
Our NKs want you to publicize the chillul Hashem where NK will support Hamas.
ReplyDeleteAnyone taking taking responsibility on the billboard ad content???
ReplyDeleteHas?
Non-orthodox both in Israel & out were emphatic how happy they were with the charedi opposition to EH
ReplyDeleteThe Township is entitled to space on the billboard which they don't use - They could remind people garbage pickup, events, leaf pickup etc. I guess they are too busy to create content for their space...
ReplyDeleteOr the township can sell the time for a slight profit.
