Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a Ceasefire and, more importantly, an END to the War. The conditions for that will be negotiated between the two parties, as it can only be, because they know details of a negotiation that nobody else would be aware of. The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent. If it wasn’t, I would say so now, rather than later. Russia wants to do largescale TRADE with the United States when this catastrophic “bloodbath” is over, and I agree. There is a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth. Its potential is UNLIMITED. Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on Trade, in the process of rebuilding its Country. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately.

    1. How about Eretz Hakodesh apologize to the Lakewood community for the deceptive news articles that the conservatives paid for the Lakewood anti Wzo campaign

Eh should be ashamed of the machlokes they brought to Lakewood and America ignoring the position of living gedolim of today and digging up the dead ones to push their chilul Hashem

    2. This website and the wannabe "kanoim" on it live off machlokes, come off it. Let's call a spade a spade. The comments till Shavuos will be full of alleged Lakewood daas-torah respecters bashing their own gedolim over Adirei. You don't need outsiders to bring it in.

    3. Hischabrus Lareshaim!
You want Eretz Hakodesh to follow in the footsteps of the WZO election watchdog?! How can you demand such a thing? This is following in the footsteps of the reshaim who believe, רח"ל, in the Jerusalem Project היל"ת. It is assur, the Chafetz Chaim said so. Who can be mattir the issur of the Chafetz Chaim?!

    1. Firstly, yes they are. Secondly, the comparison is apikorsis. We don't negotiate compromises to yiddishkeit.

    2. How is helping all your fellow Yidden with protecting the country a compromise of Yiddishkeit? How is it a compromise of your Yiddishket to provide relief to all those who have already spent months away from their families, jobs, businesses, and yes from their learning, as they have been fighting to protect you?

    3. The IDF is a מקום זימה and פריקת עול. Even the Mizrachi kids have a high percentage who go off the derech in the army, and it's not as much of a culture shock for them. They grow up in a permissive society and are fully engaged in the general secular Israeli culture
Kol shekain for the Chareidi bochurim this would be a באר שחת, and even more so for the shvache bochurim who aren't in a yeshiva.
It would destroy the Chareidi community as we know it. It must be fought as any שעת השמד with מסירת נפש if possible
And us in America must support our brothers in EY in this מלחמת מצוה, whether it is by supporting them monetarily or any other way.

      Plenty of charedim OTD.
You're just in denial over it

  3. When the chareidim get arrested then blame the 'zionists'. Open a dialogue. What is the worse that happens. Rav Shteinman ztl opened nachal chareidi.

    1. you really shouldn't comment on things you know nothing about. i doubt explaining the facts to someone like you will help but i guess i'll waste my time anyway. there was something called the Tal Law which was accepted by both the charedim and the zionists, which could be considered a compromise by both sides but was the best result of the "negotiations" and "dialogue" and which was struck down by the supreme court for no reason other than to incite against the charedim. the charedim have attempted to work out a similar deal but the supreme court has not allowed it. the knesset has no power to do anything. nachal charedi is completely unrelated and was never meant by rav steinman for mainstream charedim.

  4. So seems like the supreme court is the problem. Go protest against them. There is no elected representation in Israel. The supreme court is the issue. Not a 'zionist' problem.

    1. Agree in general. But even well meaning religious zionists suffer badly from Stockholm syndrome.
Not only are they valet bootlickers, but they'll insist the charedim be coerced to also be relegated into masochistic stooges for the Court,Shabak,Mossad who define their elastic existence

  5. 'Shmad' 'must be fought' 'Go protest'.
Nice words, but how do we actually take care of the problem? What do we do to ensure that anyone who wants to learn, has the ability to do so?
    Strong words get you nowhere.
