- US special envoy Steve Witkoff has told CNN that a ceasefire-hostage deal for Gaza is currently on the table with a pathway to end the war and urged Hams to accept it. The proposal would see the release of half of the living hostages and half of those who have died in exchange for a temporary ceasefire before negotiations begin for a comprehensive agreement to end the war.

- Report  Hamas agreed to US envoy Witkoff's proposal for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. The report did not specify what exactly they agreed to or what they demanded in return. Witkoff denies any agreement was reached.

- Palestinian official familiar with the hostage negotiations tells The Times of Israel that while Hamas is prepared to accept an interim ceasefire deal that leads to a permanent ceasefire, it remains willing to release all of the remaining hostages at once if Israel agrees upfront to end the war.

-A source familiar with the ongoing hostage negotiations tells The Times of Israel that reports of Hamas accepting US special envoy to the Mideast Steve Witkoff’s proposal for a ceasefire are not accurate. Negotiations between the sides are still ongoing, and a breakthrough has not yet been reached, the source says.

- Today, the government is set to allow the IDF to mobilize up to 450,000 reservists — a record number since the beginning of the war.
