Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into the state Sunday and linger into Monday, bringing the potential for heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding. The National Weather Service says precipitation is likely to arrive by mid- to late-morning Sunday, with coverage increasing through the afternoon and evening hours.
