- Last night, the Lakewood Township Committee held its monthly meeting virtually. The entire meeting lasted approximately six minutes.
There were no public comments submitted, and the Board approved all of the items on the agenda. Committeeman Ackerman was absent.
Notably, there was no discussion of the major tax increase that is coming. The committee will hold a final vote on the budget at an upcoming meeting.

- Jackson Township has officially adopted its 2026 municipal budget, delivering a 0% increase in municipal taxes for residents, Mayor Jennifer Kuhn announced Thursday.
