Iran Israel Updates Tuesday August 11

- Delta airlines will resume flights from New York to Israel on September 7.

Three killed in Houthi attack on cargo ship in Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Israel said to tell US it will keep targeting Oct. 7 terrorists as Gaza disarmament stalls

- Trump on Iran: We have three strategies. Do what we’re doing now--just bop along and look how bad they’re doing, because they’ve got 300% inflation. Their currency has almost no value. They’re not paying their soldiers. Their soldiers are leaving. So just keep that going because that’s not sustainable. Hit them really, really hard, or--really, the third is just beat them economically. But we’re doing that anyway. That’s sort of a part of the first. So economically, they are a mess. They can’t borrow money. We control their money, what they had, which is a lot. They had a lot, and we have total control of it. I’m their banker. I am their banker.

- Former Mossad director Yossi Cohen says he visited Iran’s Fordo uranium enrichment facility several times in the past, without saying when the visits were. “Its bombing by the Americans was the fulfillment of all my dreams,”.Cohen also states “that 60% enriched uranium is still far from a bomb,”

- Lebanese security source: "The IDF has begun a secret operation to take over the Ali Taher ridge. The situation of Hezbollah and Revolutionary Guard terrorists is bad, because the IDF controls the ridge and the supply routes; its fall may be a matter of time." Hezbollah, on the other hand, is working to dig tunnels and underground passages along the ridge to create alternative supply lines.

- Trump on the Strait of Hormuz: “It's open now. The only one that has control of the Strait is the US Navy. Our blockade is a steel wall. We let people in who we want to let in. They're coming in and going out.

- Washington Post: Trump was smuggled out of Turkey in a deception operation at the end of a NATO summit in Turkey, due to an Iranian assassination threat. An Iranian assassination threat led to a secret presidential rescue from Turkey last month, when Trump was secretly transferred from the veteran presidential plane, the Boeing 747 Air Force One, to a C-32A (the Boeing 757 in the picture). This was while the White House publicly claimed that he remained on Air Force One. According to the report, Trump left his 747 via an airport catering truck and boarded the C-32A, which flew to Britain under the call sign "Reach 18." The veteran presidential plane, carrying journalists and staff who thought Trump was on board, served as bait and continued to Britain under the call sign AF1.

A video supposedly shows the smuggling operation. Food trucks (marked with white squares) are parked under the original (not the Qatari) Air Force One.  The journalists climb the stairs at the back, but shortly afterward one of the trucks transfers Trump to the replacement plane (C-32A), which is parked at the back. It is also marked in the video.  Until the new release, the thought was that Trump was transferred to the UK on the old Air Force One, and there he transferred to the Qatari plane.
