Rav yitzchok sororzkin  shlita said over  that after the fire at Telz yeshiva 60 years ago the rosh yeshiva said it was a maaseh soton to  break their spirits and cause bitul Torah it happened on the shloshim of Rav Aaron Kotler where the yetzer hora tried to shvachen up the olam HaTorah  the yetzer hora does this when he sees that the yeshivos are shteiging in learning  and here too we have to be mechazek in limud haTorah and not get distracted.

 Rav Lazer Berl  shlita spoke divrei chizuk to the yeshiva Bochurim he said i came to be menachem all of you we have to be comforted this was maaseh Hashem and not mikra or a coincidence   and we can not question hashem's middos, we believe with a strong emunah that HKBH is in full control and everything he does is emes. The Gerrer rebbe will be coming to America as part of the Keren Olam Hatorah fundraising mission by gedolei yisroel. The rebbe will visit the New York area Parshas Shelach.

- Rav Yisrael Yitzhak Kalmanowitz shlita in response to a letter from a lakewood resident  who asked about the proposed shidduch crisis takkanos to withhold girls for a year and have bochurim go earlier to EY: Do not change the age for starting  shidduchim he said  It should not be determined that girls will delay the start of matchmaking and boys will return from eretz yisroel earlier in order to fix the "problems in the  shidduch market."

- Yom HaMeyuchas - The Second Day of Sivan And Its Special Yichus. No Tachnun is said

The second day of Sivan is called Yom HaMeyuchas.  The Taamei HaMinhagim brings a number of reasons for this.  This is the day that Hashem told Bnei Yisroel "V'Atem Tihiyu Li Mamleches Kohanim", you will be to me a kingdom of Kohanim (Yisro 19:6).  This is the day we received our special Yichus setting us apart from the rest of the nations.

Another explanation he brings is that according to the Yalkut, when the other nations questioned why Bnei Yisroel received the Torah, Hashem told them to bring their Sefer Yuchasim, to see if their pedigree stands up to the level of Bnei Yisroel's whose forefather's included Avrohom, Yitzchok, and Yaakov.
Rav Shlomo Kluger says in HaElef Licha Shlomo (also brought in Taamei HaMinhagim) that since this day is between two special days it also is considered special.  The day before is Rosh Chodesh and the day after starts the Shloshes Yimei Hagbala, the final preparation for Kabalas HaTorah.

- IDF issues evacuation order for very large areas in the northern Gaza Strip

- N12: President Trump ordered both the Pentagon and the US military to stop coordinating with Israel for a joint attack on the nuclear facilities in the Iranian Republic. This order prompted the call between President Trump and PM Netanyahu that led to the harsh - and public - warning yesterday. 

Israel, meanwhile, continued preparations for a possible Israeli attack on Iran without any US help.

Rav Dov Landau Shlita has issued a heartfelt letter offering chizuk to yeshiva bochurim and kollel yungeleit in the days leading up to the Yom Tov of Shavuos. Amid growing instability and the looming threat of a draft, Rav Landau urges the Torah community to strengthen one another and their families, emphasizing that our primary tafkid (mission) is Torah learningthe very foundation upon which the world was created.

In the letter, he alludes to the potential for the chareidi political parties to leave the governing coalition if the Giyus (draft) law is not enacted in a way that protects Torah learners. He warns that Israeli authorities are openly plotting to recruit Torah scholars into the army, and if they attempt to do so by force, the Torah community will not remain silent. “If, God forbid, they recruit by force, we will not be able to stand by. We will be forced to take actions we do not wish to take, and we will stand together to defend each and every individual so that, God forbid, they are not drafted.”

- Attempted kidnapping last night at The Lakewood Commons neighborhood At approximately 8:45 PM, Lakewood Shomrim received a call of a masked man clad entirely in black and wearing a ski mask had attempted to grab a young girl near the park off Washington  where a group of girls were  playing in the park and suddenly lunged at one of them. He grabbed the child and attempted to drag her toward the nearby wooded area. B"H The young girl, fought back forcing he attacker to release her and flee the scene on foot. -Jackson PD on the tragic crash:  A preliminary investigation has determined that the vehicle was going north on North Hope Chapel Road when it hit a deer. After striking the deer, the vehicle became disabled, and the car went off the road to its right and collided with a large tree, Kunz said.

A horrific tragedy early this  morning in Lakewood, when a minivan carrying five yeahiva bochurim crashed into flames on Hope Chapel between Clearstream and New Central, tragically resulting in the petirah of two bochurim R"L Theee other boys  are in critical condition.

Accorfing to Media reports  that the vehicle, a Toyota Sienna, was traveling along Hope Chapel Road when it struck a deer, causing the driver to lose control. The minivan veered off the roadway and crashed, bursting into flames.

Special emphasis will be placed on how this partnership has enhanced family life, chinuch habonim, and the overall ruach of Lakewood’s kehillos.

The Rosh HaYeshiva  Rav Malkiel emphasized that the upcoming ma’amad represents more than just an organizational milestone—it embodies a kiddush Hashem that strengthens the very foundations of our community.

The Rosh HaYeshiva shared how the Adirei HaTorah initiative has begun to resonate far beyond Lakewood, spreading to frum communities worldwide. “What began here in Lakewood has become a model for communities across the globe,” the Rosh HaYeshiva explained. “Just last month, I was invited to address an event in Mexico City called ‘Amudei HaOlam,’ which was directly inspired by our Ma’amad Adirei HaTorah.” He recounted how several members of the Mexican kehilla had attended last year’s Ma’amad Adirei HaTorah in Wells Fargo and left so deeply inspired that they decided to create a similar framework in their own community. “They told me how seeing the partnership between ba’alei battim and kollel yungeleit in Lakewood opened their eyes to what was possible in their own kehilla,” the Rosh HaYeshiva said.
