  1. Beware. Beware. Beware.

Please remember if you say Yom Kippur Katan 3 times straight (Nissan to Iyar YK is not said) you may have a Nedarim Shayleh> (In other words, if you said for Rosh Chodesh Nissan, fro Rosh Chodesh Sivan and now for Rosh Chodeh Tamuz it may be considered neder l'dav Mitzvah and may need hatarah to un do for future months.

    1. So be sure to say beforehand that this should not make a neder.

    2. So you are mekabel to say YK"K only during a pandemic. When the pandemic is over, it's beyond the scope of the kaballa.

Also, you need to now start every comment with "beware", as you said it 3 times when starting this post.

    3. You CAN be mekabel to say only during a 'ais tzarah'. But did you? Ort did you just join and say it without that in mind?

  2. Is BMG open? If not, why aren't the Roshei Yeshivos calling for the Tzibbur to fill the Botei Midrashim to capacity?

If the Lakewood kids can protest for camp, why aren't the kollel leit protesting to re open their makom Torah?

    1. Why are you looking to stir up controversy, if you don't even know if it's open or closed??

That said, they are closed. They are not protesting because many of them are very happy with the current setup. They are still learning with chavrusas and are in contact with their rosh chaburah. A true ben torah will continue his learning regardless if the yeshiva is open or closed. They also look for dass tora, and assume that if it's closed, the Roshei Yeshiva want it that way.

    2. Enough of your lies and foolishness. They are absolutely not happy with the current set up. Impossible to compare learning in a shtiebel to learning in a BM with hundreds of others. They have no choice because their Roshei Yeshivos are forced into this because Hakesef Yaaneh Hakol.....

    3. Enough with your stupidity.... Not only about Kesef but about the severe impact it would have on thousands of yungerleit if Yeshiva would open in a non-compliant way. Did you ever think of the letters needed for talmidim on govt. programs? talmidim that would need to pay back loans? or those that might actually want credits for future parnasa?? Opening now would not only impact the yeshiva and talmidim right now but would be a long term impact so don't tell me that they would not have to pay back the loans now during the pandemic because they would have to pay it back very soon if yeshiva would lose Title IV status... also don't kvetch in a month when you don't get your Kollel check because Yeshiva cant afford it after losing funding.... You cant have things both ways....

    4. Its a recent phenomenon to have large Botei Medrash. In the alte heim, every town had a shul or a shtiebel. Lakewood has plenty of those.
Your obsession in opening up davka BMG shows that its not about Hashem or the Torah that you care about, but rather your agenda, whatever it may be.
The rest of us don't care.

    5. The Chiluk is gohr poshut (Gib ah drei mit deh grubbeh fingeh) the kids needs entertainment so someone figured out that protesting for parks, camps, sleep away is great timefiller.
OBEH by dee Yingehleit, zey lehrnen wherever they are and to go protest is pushut bitul Taireh.
      Yezt kehnmehn shoin alles fahrshtein.

    6. Where is the stimulus money BMG received on behalf of the students? Why was it not distributed to the talmidim yet?

Good Morning fellow Lakewood Serfs and to the Feudal Lordships that are destroying Lakewood. Anyone notice the 2 line Notice from NJDOT (Transportation) that Route 9 will Not be redone as a 3 Lane(middle lane for turning and freeing up traffic flow) they will only do cosmetic work at
various intersections on Route 9, basically leaving it as a 2 lane state Hiway. Interesting to note, the Eagle Ridge 1000 plus home development used this 3 lane scenario on Rt 9 as a means to absorb the 2000 plus cars, buses etc.,given over by their Traffic Expert who looked like someone out of High school with PHONY TRAFFIC counts. So with Rt 9 paralyzed even further, our CORRUPT Leaders will dump many 1000,s of cars on our Parking lot Streets. This is pure evil, esp. the poor Couple almost Beaten to DEATH over this job. Clearly shows a MAFIA mentality by the select few and yet NO answers from Police etc. $$$$ does strange things to our leaders and some developers to the point where Murder is an OPTION

    1. There never was a legitimate plan to widen Rt 9, it was just to keep the servants at bay. We need to see what the opening of Vermont all the way from Cedarbridge to Rt 70 would do to relieve the traffic, but of course there is opposition to that plan from the residents of Vermont.

    2. Will not help anything. It's not a direct line across the town. Vermont turns and then goes to vine which itself is very busy. Even if they open the road to bnos dvora that won't help because the road ends there. IMHO opening the Vermont road is all PR and will not help anything but spend millions of dollars for absolutely NO purpose.
Lakewood has to use eminent domain and open a new road to parallel route 9. Cedearbridge when it hits 88 is no better either...

Why is it every town in NJ and across the nation realize the ACTUAL revenue of a Home is ALWAYS a deficit to the Tax Base. In other words, these $600,000 townhomes and their taxes don't come close to Balance the Budget. It costs us ,the Taxpayer MORE out of our pockets to pick up the Slack, giving wealthy developers 35 tax Abatements on their fully leased office buildings, leaves us to make up the Constant Dficit in Budget. Can anyone tell me if any town or city gives away 35 year abatements

Anyone remember if our tax rate was ever stable? Nah it just keeps rising every year,as more homes are built with very few Ratables our taxes will Devour all of us. Interesting to note that many of our Leaders and Vaadnicks don't pay Property Taxes, so who cares about another TAX increase

  7. Aunt Jemima will start featuring a svelte Hapmton's housewife, platinum blonde, dressed to the nines, but with an apron for good measure, pretending to stand with her well coiffed hair in a steamy kitchen to fry pancakes for her two children and chihuahua.

  8. Why is LSTA charging $150 per student and not giving the unspent money back to parents for not providing busing for 4 months.

    4. Colleges across America have already distributed the stimulus grant money to their students. Why is it taking BMG so long??

  9. What about the commenter about the $6,000,000 BMG received for the students... How come nobody received anything yet??? Yungerleit and talmidim can use some much needed money that was supposed to got them... Anyone have any idea what happened to it? Students will get the money in a year when this is over? The money has been released...

  10. Now we know why with all the developments being built, our taxes are going up. Because they used up the money to help ILLEGAL immigrants. Not to help the legal citizens who ACTUALLY apy the taxes!!!!

    Time to vote for HAROLD!!!

  11. They always told us they couldn't collect impact fees from the developers to help pay for infrastructure. But to help out the illegal immigrants, they figured it out. Disgusting.

  12. "curb arrests that disproportionately impact Black people." so no arrests for murder, rape, and assaults?

  13. What curfew is the chief referring to

    1. There is likely a curfew for children, unrelated to China virus. Most places have one
