- Faa news: Motion filed to dismiss charges against binyomin kubani
Mr. Jacobovitch today filed a formal motion in Superior Court seeking a complete dismissal of the pending criminal charges. The motion argues extremely plainly that the allegations against Mr. Kubani do not meet the legal standards required under the applicable statute, and that the facts — even as described by law enforcement — do not support any finding of criminal intent or unlawful conduct. The filing urges the court to dismiss the case based on well-established legal precedent. more

ReplyDeleteTroll it's our money
DeleteI have a feeling he won't be needing Tomchei Shabbos anytime soon.
DeleteWinston Churchill was not in tune with the populace, as is Yated.
ReplyDeleteThe populace wants charedim to serve, it's only right. (And frankly, most charedim in Israel want to serve absent deference to the Rebbe or RY.)
Blithely ridiculous article from ignorant editors who regurgitate typical fatalistic lefty wiki hogwash.
DeleteHe was as Grand as they come & he expected Britain to shoulder continued burdens in the near term to remain as Grand.
Unfortunately Britain's public shirked it & was lulled ( 90% of Jews pushed overwhelmingly that way as well;with the public absorbing heaps of communistic propaganda) into going small.
It was morosely when the British began the process was changing themselves "from Romans into [little] Italians"
That's your opinion and slant, Mr. Cohen.
DeleteThe British empire fell apart for good reason. Churchill missed the signs and misinterpreted the mood
good reason? So what was it?
DeleteThe world have been messier ever since! You prefer whatever has happened since then?Which part of the world is better?Even Pakistani Uber drivers tell me they miss British rule!
This is your anti- Mandate or similar bias coming through?

DeleteNever understood the inzelbuch rip off scheme. The excuse given to be paying such crazy sums of money was because he used to fight The district in court to get special needs children into schi and when they were denied by the board of Ed he would fight it in court and get them approved. So the question is why did they keep fighting it and why did they keep denying if he kept winning in court especially since the board is made up of the same people who then hired inzelbuch. It almost seemed like some kind of black male that he was doing on them either you hire me or I'll make you some trouble. The bottom line is all our legal stuff in the township and board of Ed should be reviewed and cut out a lot of the waste
ReplyDeleteNo blackmail. He fought against the BOE for years and won millions of dollars a year on behalf of his clients.
DeleteAt some point, the BOE chose to save money by hiring him and not having to deal with him being hired by those suing the BOE.
I hope call you cry babies are happy that Enzolbach lost his job. now some ainyno yehoodie will have it instead. I hope that makes you happy. Idiots!!
ReplyDeleteHow about he takes the job at a fair salary? Why did you not think of that option?
DeleteInzelbach didn't lose his job. It was put out to bid (Lakewood Scoop had the sole ad) - responses have to be in by July 15th. I am sure the Board worded it as such that he will get it back.
ReplyDeleteUntil Yidden moved to Jackson nobody cared about tenants, now suddenly with frum "slumlords" they care? This is unconstititional as no one can force you to let them in to your home. Where is Aguda?
ReplyDelete
DeleteThe crackdown on rentals in Jackson and Howell appears to be driven by individuals within our own community, those with deep pockets who are eager to see their neighborhoods change over quickly to suit their vision of quality of life. It’s deeply troubling to see them targeting struggling young couples who have scraped together every last penny just to make a down payment on a modest home in an up-and-coming area. These couples are simply trying to hold onto their homes for a few years until they can fully afford the monthly mortgage.
What’s especially upsetting is that some of those now speaking out against landlords were themselves beneficiaries of lower home prices not long ago. Yet now, they’re using their influence both in political circles and with rabbonim to push through polished kol korehs and persuade township officials to pass ordinances that hurt others in the community. This use of power and money, without rachmanus or consideration for others, is becoming reckless. Instead of showing rachmanus, there is an increasing sense of achzariyus toward fellow Yidden who are just trying to find a home and place for their growing families.
After flopping big time with the gottheimer campaign cbn now shilling for sherril going after Ciattarelli
ReplyDeleteAre these guys delusional or clowns
Problem is there are no good alternatives. We need a hefkervelt WhatsApp group
DeleteVery easy to do just copy exactly what they do by forwarding news from other sources you can fwd all their watsapp posts call it the cbn fan page but allow comments from group members
DeleteThis sounds like schnall campaign and askanim trying to once again fool lakewood into voting for a Democrat governor and they will hope that Sherill won't say anything about it until she gets elected and than won't do anything and cbn jcn are all in with shnall Lichtenstein and askanim
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile Sherill already voted against it in the house

INzelbuch earned all his money as ther did all the work of the BOE. he ran the meetings, he ran the public schools, he ran everything so in this case he earned his money. If the actual board now starts to act like they care about out taxmoney and the education of the all the students then we will be ok but in rality they are just there to fill seats. TLoook who they put in when tey had the open seat this year. someone with no experience. Just a placeholder. Wish the fix the formula candidates would have won. We need more aisek btzprchai tzibur candidates to run in all positions, BOE and Township committee.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have just a little information about this.
DeleteYes, Inzelbuch ran the meetings. But who asked him to? Who needed him? Why can't it be run like any other town? Running meetings does not justify that kind of salary.
Fix the Formula was our best hope, but myopia won the day again.
Here’s what’s going on: Avi Schnall is under pressure to show that he delivered on tuition relief, especially with re-election on the horizon. Tuition relief was the key issue that convinced many in Lakewood to vote for him and so far, it hasn’t materialized. Now, he’s marketing himself as the champion behind the "big, beautiful" bill. Just look at this week’s Ami Magazine cover of a large photo of Schnall alongside the headline “Big Beautiful Win.”
ReplyDeleteBut things are more complicated. In the upcoming New Jersey governor’s race, the issue of tuition tax credits for private schools will likely come up. If Democrat Mikie Sherrill wins, she could choose not to opt in to the federal tuition credit program, since the Senate version of the law leaves participation up to each individual state.
That would seriously damage Schnall’s narrative because if New Jersey (or New York) opts out, tuition relief becomes irrelevant for local frum families. This is likely why there’s an effort to keep the conversation quiet and hope Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli doesn’t raise the issue which would likely force Sherrill to oppose it publicly, as she already voted against it in Congress.
Those behind this strategy appear to be trying to avoid the risk of the public realizing the truth. As a result, some of the paid off Lakewood media seem to be going along with the messaging to maintain the appearance that tuition relief is on its way and credited to schnal
Avi Schnall is taking credit for a federal tuition relief bill that was decades in the making, led by religious groups and only made possible under Republican leadership and President Trump. Despite publicly opposing Trump and speaking at the DNC, Schnall is now promoting himself as a key figure behind the bill while he helped flip a Republican seat to the Democrats, yet is using this legislation passed without his real involvement to boost his re-election image. The paid off media, aligned with his interests, is helping maintain this narrative.
Avi Schnall had hardly anything to do with tuition relieef. The OU was a big factor, the christian and muslim schools were a tremendous factor. Do some research and see
DeleteO u and muslims had nothing to do with this. Neither of then have influence in red states.it was catholics and anti union anti woke republican

ReplyDeleteCan anyone share?
Nothing of substance just shallow ditzy stupidity that belongs on the shallow scoop
DeleteA girl is upset about school rules after a lakewood high school banned sneakers and Uggs to keep uniformity and dress code but some spoiled teenager didn't like it and blamed everyone with immature stupidity not worth repeating
DeleteYes I can share it but not if you consider it drivel. I have immediate family members teaching in most of the local high schools, and yes there is a major disconnect between the old rebetzins and what's going on in the real world. They don't bother educating themselves about what is out there, or connecting to the students, most of whom Will not remain in the teaching system, but in offices. They don't realize the music they're listening too, and many other things. The letter written by the girl was spot on for many, and it should be heeded.
ReplyDeleteAre you meant to stoop down or raise the bar? Fact is you drop the kids drop even further.
DeleteI didn’t read the letter, so I can only go by what has been quoted here.
DeleteImagine a world where high schools taught Halacha as Halacha and chumra as chumra. Those that wish to live an elevated life will be machmir, and others will not. Are we not far better off? Those that are on a path of aliyah will have an opportunity to practice that journey, which will lead them to further heights. When the chumros are rules forced on them from above, they never get to practice being machmir on themselves. Those that aren't holding by being machmir, will keep the halacha as it is, and won't feel like they are in a fight with authority.
(All this assumes that things like Uggs are chumros. I don't know what they are at all, maybe its a nothingburger.)
