A follow up letter issued by the Rabbonim snd poskim who signed the initial Kol Korei regarding the Bais Havaad Lakewood stating that despite any and all progress the status of kashrus of the bais din Bais Havaad of Lakewood, as of now remains as we stated in our original peak, both in regards to them issuing summonses, maasei bais din or any other matter until we declare otherwise.

Looks like they used Google translate for the English one. Completely unintelligible
ReplyDeleteWow! Finally they’re being called out for what they are. The chutzpah that the Bais havaad put out a letter signed by themselves and a few other mostly non heard of rabbis and a therapist to unilaterally declare that the ban against them is over
ReplyDeleteActing in an extremist manner is not smart or effective. The letter against the Bais Hvadd raising issues with all their decisions seems extreme. The Bais Hvadd efforts to prove themselves is likewise extreme. The bottom line is that the layperson has no idea who can be trusted.
ReplyDeleteExtreme is relative, here it is irrelevant.
DeletePlease fell better soon. You obviously have some issue with bais havvad a very reputable bais din in town. Along with the many Lakewood rabonim we only wish BAis Havvad continued success. Obviously there are some litigants that have som sour grapes and doing all they can to foment issues.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the spin maybe you'll get 4 clueless people to fall for it
DeleteThe layperson ought to do some serious research before trusting any of them. I went into a situation assuming that people advertising themselves as a beis din would at least have basic integrity and honesty, unfortunately it’s not the case and I’m lucky I realized before signing with them. I assure you, if you’re a straight person you will be nauseated with their tactics, if you don’t mind being lied that’s a diff story
ReplyDeleteCan you give some examples of what to expect?
DeleteSure, at Bais havaad you can expect them to manipulate a case from beginning to end. You can expect that they will tell each party what they want to hear to get them to sign arbitration with them, they will say “just sign the dotted lines and don’t worry xyz is not even up for discussion” then turn around 5 minutes later and say they don’t recall saying that. When you hand them an audio recording of it and challenge them in front of a third party they’ll say “oh what should i do I made a mistake I found out that what I said was wrong” this is just a tiny example I can share many more but I may bore you
DeleteDon't use them for gittin, they tell you you're signing for shalom bayis, and then after you sign the easily decide your marriage is unrepairable and force you to gett. Happened many times. Very dangerous bunch.
DeleteEvery Din Torah has someone losing, and many of them complain afterwards.
DeleteThose who regularly deal with Dinei Torah, such as Rabbanim and toi'anim, have good experiences with the BHV.
They don't force people to gett. We don't do that nowadays.
DeleteBut they do get gittin done, with minimum fuss. They don't allow people to stonewall and make excessive demands.
It’s true that toanim don’t tell you to stay away from the Bais havaad but that’s part of the corruption! If you get a toein or a lawyer they’ll treat you differently. Not every divorcing couple can each afford a $15000 retainer for a toein. They present themselves as here to help you, no need to get a toein well hold your hand along the way…. They get all the info out of you and then double cross you.
DeleteAnswer for that is easy. The BHV has much at stake to defend their fief. The other side is coming from [for most] pure scruples
ReplyDeleteSimple. Bhv has much to lose so they'll lie and and distort and due what they can to stay in business for dini Torah and large payroll. the other side simply wants accountability for a wacky psak and being motze laz
DeleteIf the pesak is valid, then those fighting the pesak are trying to reclain their kehuna.
DeleteWe don't know ourselves, because we don't have the information.
So as far as we are concerned, both should stay בחזקתן.
Rav Dovid Cohen, the greatest posek in America by a long shot, agrees with the Beis Havaad, as does rav Feurst of Chicago, the biggest posek in the Midwest and one of America's most eminent poskim. Nothing more need be said.
ReplyDeleteare you his minister of promotion
DeleteThere are plenty of great poskim who think differently.
DeleteRav dovid Cohen does not agree with bais vaad psak for the kehuna aspect, he only partially agrees that the marriage is permitted, and for other reasons. The issue at hand is the kehuna for the rest of the family.
DeleteMaybe we can use our efforts to bring Sholom here instead of commenting about Gedolim and Rabonim. Lets see if we can put our Yiddishe Kep together and help bring a resolution . Two things are true. The BHV is not closing and the Gedolim are not backing down. I challenge someone- anyone here to be a Nachshon and make this Hishtadlus.
ReplyDeleteThey’re not closing? True bec they were already closed down.
DeleteCan anyone show a Halachic basis for a Bes Din and a bunch of Rabbonim being required to justify their Psak TO THE SATISFACTION OF SOME AGGRIEVED PARTY
ReplyDeleteOne has a right to nimukim
DeleteBatei din ignore.
Note, in US, providing nimukim can lead to challenging the psal in civil court.
There is no such halachic right.
DeleteLearn the halachos, like the Beis Din did.
מהיכן דנתני is a right
DeleteIf they can't put out a Teshuva when their Psak is affecting a whole extended family "a Tzibur" they are not LEGIT!!
